Went back following morning to hear she had spoken to the man concerned and then I went to ask for her by this time was in staff office wouldn't come talk to me ? I just wanted to know what she had said so I had an idea of the situation...however the manager was there who normally never there that early I wanted to speak to have him at least understood he showed no care or understanding towards a female as myself when you are information a client is acting obsessive behavior of course its a concern I even called the police 2 days previous for there advice who suggested I go into the gym tell the gentleman to stop and to leave alone ...officer saying you should be safe as there are staff to help ...finally the man came out of dressing room and I confronted him in front of manager he denied everything.....manager just stands there saying nothing at least he should have said to him ...please refrain from contact and make me feel comfortable but said NOTHING the gentleman asked can we take it outside i looked at manager hoping he would say no you can go sit down and talk so I can keep an eye on both parties ...he didn't care he just wanted it outside the gym I asked him can you keep an eye on me to be honest I was scared to how things may turn out...thankfully once we spoke but still denied he left I went back in ...as a retired Manager I know human resources would be not happy at the staff at the gym he made me feel I was the issue instead of a victim he shows lack of empathy or safety of his female clients I had not been in the gym for weeks the female staff member it was ridiculous her hiding in the office I even texted her to come talk to me so unprofessional....God forbid anything more serious happens the staff do not know how to help or deal with a situation more training is needed to deal with such situations as if a woman is harrast its the gyms responsibility to deal with it only comments he kept saying over and over again my concern is my gym ...I even made a phone call while in the gym to police asking them to talk to him which they did once off the phone he never took it seriously or should I say didn't give a dam ! I'm just a 64yr woman so obviously not a concern of my well-being before I left i spoke with him once again explaining why im hurt and upset he just stands there just nodding and again his concern was the gym ...I even apologized that he came in early that alone I could see had not made him happy there was no need for him to be there his employer obviously had a concern that's why he was there but let's be honest he did NOTHING ....I left went home in tears feeling like not once did they show any consideration of my self worth or safety....let me make it clear the man who started all this was not violent just obsessive behavior from what I was informed. In this day and age we know things can turn ugly at any time...I am a victim of domestic violence this is why I asked advice from the Police who were very nice and understanding and I felt proud I had the nerve to go deal with this myself yes I acted tuff on the outside but it was to show I had control and not have a man make me feel I couldn't stand up for myself and felt I would have support and understanding which I had none ...the staff made me feel like a criminal not a victim shame on them ! They offer group classes and personal training sessions only, so this is not your standard "drop in and work out on your own" gym. The schedule has regular spin, zumba, pilates, and yoga classes, and personal training sessions can be scheduled by appointment. Classes are reasonably priced, you must schedule and reserve ahead (no drop ins) because the place is small and they don't want to overbook. But, the scheduling system is online, very simple, and allows you to add in or cancel nearly right up until the class start time. Every class I've gone to was a hit - energetic and helpful instructors and good music! The clientele tends to be lots of young professionals who live nearby in Corktown, Midtown, downtown, etc. and everyone is very friendly. All levels of fitness welcome. I only wish True Body would add a few more varieties of classes to their schedule (kickboxing, please!!!) and maybe some more Saturday day times, so I could go more often. You know the drill with these gyms, they offer you a free week pass but you have to go in person, get the spiel from one of their sales reps, fill out tons of crap, and get hounded with ads and phone calls for the rest of your life until you join - not so here. Go online and sign up with their class scheduler, and if you've ever taken any class at one of these boutique gyms then you're already familiar with the Mind Body Connect platform. Add the "one week free" item to your cart and sign up for classes. DONE. I walked in that same day for a 90min spin class. No calls or questions when I stopped going. Some might prefer more attention, which I get, but I was thrilled with their hands off approach. Totally friendly, worth checking out. For you spinners out there, they have a series of classes that work towards riding a full century. I'm definitely going to check that out when it comes around again.

Usually only 3 of the 8 stairmasters are functional. If you try to complain to customer service, there is NO 800 # to call! Unbelievable! They will tell you that they are not related to GoodLife because they are 2 separate companies but in fact, Goodlife owns and runs all the Fit4Less locations. They don't even replace the batteries in the clocks when they stop working. If the staff could do any less and if this gym could be any more run down, I'm not sure that would be possible! You definitely get what you pay for, in this case even less than you pay for... Someone please open up a better budget gym than this one!
