They scraped the old ceiling finish off, and relocated and replaced a busted attic access. The rehung multiple doors, replaced busted deck steps, and built a huge fence and RV gate for me. The work was extensive, and the pricing for the fence was super reasonable and it came out crazy nice! Honestly I was surprised at the quotes as I expected them to try to take me to the cleaners as most of the contractors I have dealt with out here were super pricey. Change out a light switch plate? Sure, for twenty bucks. Here's the kicker though, and what sets them apart from the rest; I live in AZ. Giving contractors access to a house unsupervised can make the most trustworthy person think twice. I have cameras set up throughout my house though, and every day they were there early in the morning, doing the work without needing to be supervised. Every night they cleaned up after themselves and locked up and not once did I catch any of their guys in the master bedroom trying on the wife's lingerie when nobody was looking. Nadja stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process and never got annoyed at my repeated questions, or 'suggestions' no matter how stupid they were. Hometown Handyman rocks to say the least. Great pricing, no job too big or too small and professional as all get out. I recommend them above all others!

I figured any place that was so busy that they were turning away new customers was a place I wanted to deal with! I waited until they could take me, and they sent an excellent employee who did all the work in a very reasonable amount of time and they charged me under what I thought it would be. Asked Kris to install blinds on windows, which he did. The quality of his work was good and a good…read morevalue, but he works slow. He has a FT job and handyman services is extra income on the side. Called a second time requesting he add more window blinds that I had purchased, to install deadbolts on three exterior doors and replace all the interior door knobs I purchased. We negotiated a price, which he increased due to the work involved and I agreed to the new price. I paid in cash, but he didn't finish the work. He returned to complete the project, but left after an hour, as he didn't finish a deadbolt installation and installed the second dead bolt and door handles, then left early because a tornado warning was issued that afternoon and evening. Kris said he'd return to finish the job Saturday or Sunday, but didn't. So, Kris walked off with my money and left without finishing the work he was paid to do. He offered to return the following weekend. I text: Will you be able to finish the work? No reply ... and the blinds, the deadbolt nor the door knobs are still sitting on my table. He took my cash, said he'd be back - and didn't. A hard lesson. Do not to trust this guy! He'll take your money and leave his work unfinished.

Initially I was very impressed with All Klear, as they seemingly got us taken care when our HVAC…read morewent out ahead of a winter storm last year and the technicians seemed very professional. However, that was the beginning of a year of headaches and runarounds. First of all, the unit they put in was entirely too big for the house (a 4 ton unit for a 1500 sq ft house). This was admitted by the techs when we called them out to address the extreme humidity in the house (80%+ humidity with the AC on), which was caused by having an oversized and overpowered unit. So we were given a unit completely inappropriate to what we needed, and charged more for it. This caused us headaches throughout the year. Fast forward to this winter, and we are having more issues with this year old furnace. We had to call them out twice in the course of a week to do repairs, at least one of those because the furnace froze up due to no one having thought of running a vent down to the cellar. We've ended up paying what is likely thousands of dollars more than is necessary stemming from this brand new unit which has given us far more grief than our previous unit ever did prior to it going out. Maybe my situation was unique, because I see all the positive reviews otherwise. However, if I were to recommend anyone to a friend, I would not recommend All Klear anymore. They've lost my confidence entirely.
