When I moved, my premium went up and I was told it was due to the area--fine. But since then, despite living at the same address for over a year, my rate has increased three more times with no explanation. I have zero points, no accidents, and a clean driving record since the day I started driving. Yet this morning, I discovered yet another rate increase--this time by $53--and once again, no notice, no letter, no justification. Just another unexplained hike. This is unreasonable and feels like you are raising rates simply because you can. I will be finding a different insurance company because this has become absolutely ridiculous.

I have known Clarinda for years. When I found out she had become a Farmer's agent, she did not…read morepressure me at all to switch my insurance to her. But out of curiosity I started asking her questions and she came back with questions for me about my existing policies. When I didn't have the answers, it got me wondering about my insurance and whether my needs were being met. She offered to review my policies and explain my coverages. She spent a lot of time finding out about my needs, both business and personal. I decided to have her handle various policies on my business as she was able to identify an area of coverage that was incorrect and could have resulted in me not being covered for something I believed I was covered for. She was able to explain my coverages and show me where my premiums were being broken down. Not long after, my homeowner's insurance policy was not renewed because the carrier claimed I was in a fire zone. So I reached out to Clarinda and she was able to get me a policy and once again explain all of the coverages so we could decide on what we wanted. Clarinda has also insured several cars for my family and has been helpful in getting us good driver, good student, and other discounts. She has worked to help us manage our coverages when our kids have been away at school and may not have needed as much coverage since they were away from their cars. The great thing is that Clarinda has been able to assist me with Farmers products but when Farmers did not have a product that met my needs, she would also assist me in finding an insurance product that did work. In that way she has shown that she cares about me and my business, not just about her business. It is nice to have a relationship with my insurance agent and good to know that her agency is either a phone call or email away. I highly recommend her agency and would recommend it to anyone wholeheartedly.
