The owner, Anna, is a straight boss babe and is the sweetest most, hardworking woman I have ever met and is such an inspiration to women (BTW she's only 21). Beautiful, plush scarves caught my eye, as well as some of the old writing table decorations. One room in the back was filled with an assortment of accessories, like jewelry, hair barrettes, and hats. Incredibly well organized, this shop is like strolling through a fashion museum. Prices were a little higher than expected, and although there were two salesladies in the store, neither of them acknowledged that I was there. That bumped Vintage Marketplace down to three stars. I'd still stop back for a browse though. The window display changes frequently (and, in my opinion, is the most elaborate in Hyde Park), so something new will likely draw me in again.

As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted and the woman was very helpful. What I liked about this place is that they asked if you need any assistance. If you don't need it, they keep their distance and let you enjoy your shopping. The store is not big and is definately more focused on dressier items (there were maybe 3 pairs of jeans). I bought 3 blouses and 4 sweaters for $30, you can't beat that! They take both cash and credit. The employees were friendly and parking super easy. Plug the address in your GPS, as it's little tricky to find behind the strip mall. I'll be back for sure.
