Hands down favorite shop in Cincinnati. Full of small designers and sustainable brands from clothing to home goods. Always a great place to find a gift. Always a great place to get some inspiration. && always a great place to find a piece you'll love forever. Couldn't recommend stopping in more.

Quince & Quinn offers a variety of beautiful home furnishings, as well as interior design and event styling services. What a neat place. The first floor showcases mostly garden furnishings, and a staircase leads to a much larger, "main" second story where you will find unique lighting, upholstery, gifts and home accents. The owner was friendly during our visit and was very helpful and affable. The addition of the shop dog, Louie - a french bulldog, made this a well-rounded and adorable trip. The entire store was (and still might be) 30% off at the time. Definitely a fun find in the Oakley neighborhood!

An employee came outside and said, "May you please not relieve your dog here". I said of course, I wouldn't do that, he is just sniffing around. It was a very reasonable ask from the employee. I didn't leave the area right away and the employee began to curse at me for having my dog in that space! It was so startling and threatening, especially for truly minding my own business. I will never support Quince and Quinn. It is a shame they hire such disrespectful people who would yell at a young lady walking down the street. It made me feel very uncomfortable.

I visited Gattle's during the Montgomery Holiday Open House, seeing that it was listed on Yelp as a…read morelingerie store. I was thinking I had stumbled upon another Knickers of Hyde Park. Not quite...unless you're Grandma looking for bloomers. The "lingerie" selection here includes a room full of long nightgowns. You know the type: floor-length with a conservative collar and nothing that anyone under 60 would consider buying. Disappointed, I continued to browse the rest of the store. The other 90% of Gattle's is stocked with homegoods: custom monogrammed dishtowels, bath towels, place mats, and bedding sets. They also have gifts like rubber kitchen gloves with fur wrist lining. Or lotions and candles. Very, very expensive lotions and candles. $48 for an 8 ounce candle? That's way too much for something so small. Most of the products I viewed were imported from London or France, which explains the high prices. There were a lot of nice smelling items which I would have bought had they been half...well, two-thirds of the price. Have kids to shop for? This is a perfect place for Grandma to buy the grandkids something unique. There are all sorts of clothes and toys for the luxurious toddler. These are definitely special occasion items and mirror the prices of the candles. I did like how Gattle's has color swatches and examples of all their customizable bed and bath goods. This is definitely the place if you're looking for fine linens. Older, wealthy ladies will adore this niche shop. Unfortunately, it was just a little too pricey for me.
