The selection is okay, but just about everything is over priced. I have no idea why the pricing is so different between the two. The staff at this location are not rude or anything, but not as nice as those at the other location. Maybe it just feels less welcoming? I am sure their cleaning standards are the same as the other location, but everything feels grimier at this location. We honestly do not even stop by here anymore after going to the main campus.

They seem to have several sales going on at various times, so ask if not sure on final price. Lots of furniture items that are in great shape for a reasonable price. The staff at the larger store was nice, but there seemed to be at least 3 people working, but maybe only 1 register, so I waited while the other two stood around/did other things. The staff at the smaller place across the street was super nice, more people working in the back than out front, but still helpful, more clothes than furniture there but still good prices on everything and sales posted in various places.

I can absolutely buy most of the items brand new for the same price or less. I'm hesitant to write a review but I am unable to give them feedback on their Facebook page and feel they need to hear from typical shoppers that they are pricing out a great percentage of their potential patrons. I do know they have sales for specific color tags, but those are very few and far between. Even then, a 50 or 75% off price is what the item should have originally been marked for.

This is always a great thrift store to visit with a wide array of items from crockery to art, and…read moreclothes to collectibles. Each item is priced using a color coded tag. Depending on the month, there will be an additional sale on the color of the tag. The store is clean, well laid out, and staff are always polite and helpful. They get in new items regularly and you never know what you will find. Proceeds from the sales go to the pines rehabilitation center.

The tag color sale is always clearly posted throughout the shop, and everything is well organized, even the books! DVDs are a bit much in my opinion, but everything else is priced well. Everything is always clean. An employee even told us that everything from the clothes to the postcards are cleaned. Speaking of post cards, the selection of items is really good, with plenty of organized art/craft supplies and cards.

This is a Goodwill Donation Center only. Goodwill is the closest thrift store so we decided to come…read morehere to drop off some items. This Goodwill is off I-75 and Fl-301 in Ellenton, Florida. Goodwill isn't my first choice when donating items but we had things in the truck to drop off. This Goodwill has a drive-thru which makes it extremely easy. You pull in around the back of the building to the arches where someone meets you to take your donations.

I am writing a negative review on the leadership of Goodwill donation center sarasota pkwy…read morelocation. I worked there as an attendant, but after only two days, I quit! The trainer they call she is a keyholder, kind of shiftlead position, her name is Ambra Stephen. She is lazy, petty and very mean. The place is covered with dust everywhere which triggered my sore throat, runny nose. When another keyholder came and suggested Ambra should do a deep cleaning at the place, she also told me to keep using a rag to clean the dust everywhere. Ambra took it as an offense, when seeing me cleaning., she gave me the firty look, and then she forced me to operate a dolly with five totes which I was not able to do, it was my second day. When I told her I was told by another trainer I could transport 4 totes with a dolly, this Ambra Stephen got nasty and said words to insult me. I quit right on the spot. I never recommend anyone to work at that facility, a very filthy, nasty place with a nasty so called shift lead to run it. If there is option of zero, I chould give zero star rating for that place.
