But I have worked very hard with my pup in order to be able to clip her nails with no fuss. I trim her nails on a weekly basis. But, whomever cut her nails and did a very bad job at it. I attached pictures to what the worst one looked like on the day I brought her home. I do not know why they cut her nails with out asking me, nor would I have given permission as she had been cut probably 5 days before that since we had her around family on the 4th. There was absolutely no reason to cut her nails and it honestly really killed me because her nails are so see through that you cannot miss her quick. She limped on that paw for the first few days. Not only this, but it's been 3 weeks today and there is still a stitch intact in her stomach. They're supposed to be the ones that dissolve, and yet it hasn't. Spend a little more money else where. Especially when they do services that you didn't ask for.

"We provide quality food and groceries to hungry individuals across our 30 county service area. Since 1982, we've distributed more than 250 million pounds of food and fed more than 14 million people." So why am I talking about them? Because I recently had the privilege of volunteering at their food bank. "Bank" should honestly be replaced with "warehouse" because that is exactly what it is. They have boxes for food and drinks coming in (by the pallet) and boxes ready to sort then boxes that have been packed up and ready to ship across the region. And this place is systemic. You have a job and they show you how to do that job as well as be available for questions. I have served at and taken groups to a number of food warehouses and soup kitchens throughout my life. This, by far, is one of the best organized ones I have encountered. The instructions will tell you, but let me say it again. Wear comfortable shoes and comfortable clothes. Prepare to sweat and know that you may have to lift up to 20 pounds. Feeding people isn't always easy, but it is always worth it. Find a way to support. *Insider's Tip -Volunteer either at the Food Bank or the Master's Table (a once-a-day meal providing location downtown). Visited this thrift store for their big annual discount sale. The back half of the store (old…read morewarehouse) reeks of cigarette smoke. It was impossible to determine if the smell was coming from something inside the large room (i.e., furniture, rugs, items, etc.) or if that was just the way it always smelled. They keep the children's toys and items in this part of the store, among many other things. I've had severe asthma my whole life, so even just being in that room was enough to make me start coughing. They have so much of their own decor that it can be confusing when trying to figure out what is actually for sale and what belongs to the store. Additionally, the store does not individually price a large amount of items (which are clearly for sale!) which is very frustrating (some areas have signs w/prices, others do not). Items that have been priced, vary greatly. For example, a very cheap purse might be listed at $20+ while a name brand purse is listed at $8. They have a section of designer/name brand items that is also marked up significantly. It would make sense if their prices were a fraction of what the item cost brand-new, but they're out here charging $35+ for very used leggings! And they weren't even Lululemon! The cashier was disengaged and barely acknowledged shoppers, despite the long line. It takes .10 seconds to make eye contact and greet a person. There are so many better, more reasonably priced stores in the area, so this is a no for me.

Tough to lose a brand new customer over $6 even with the return of the item still pristine.
