Goodwill - My opinion on the GreatWill - Community Service/Non-Profit Near Me - Marshall, Michigan

We have stopped in there twice in the last 6 months and left empty handed both times. Prices are off the hook, way overpriced. That would explain why the shelves are so overloaded and messy. Found a puzzle from Big Lots with a $1 price that Goodwill had priced at $4.59! I thought this was supposed to be a charitable store for the needy. read more

The employees at this location under price and stash new good items to buy themselves. This is against Goodwill policy and is grounds for termination. However, it seems to continue to go unpunished. The store is full of overpriced junk. The staff is unfriendly at best. Zero stars. read more

The employees find some really good stuff and keep it under the register for themselves. And the manager held on to some glasses I was going to buy, for friend of hers on vacation. It was Friday and her friend was coming in Monday to get them. This is being crappy. I pretty much don't come here any more. They taped up a DVD and Blu-Ray collection of Star Wars, 12 Disc collection. They said it was checked and verified. I was hot to get home and carefully taking the tape off, not to damage the box, cause I'm a Star Wars geek. Well, no Blu-Rats to be found in there. I was pretty hot. So I drive all the way back there and was told they do not return movies once they leave. I'm out $40. So I found the on Goodwill Online auction and bought it again for $32. This Place is the crappiest out of them all. I love Goodwill, just not this location. Plus other Goodwills price Christmas trees no more than $8. This place $99. They are overpriced. Went to find furniture, very poor small selection. Found a few other small things for the kids. Just an average goodwill.

One of the best maintained Goodwills in the area. Great selection and lots of high end clothing. Visit the Boutique areas in the store. Great prices. Friendly staff, lots of dressing rooms, good prices. A great place to pass some time! read more

Love this store. You are able to donate and purchase items at this location. Found a few items that had never been used. Great prices practically on everything. Wide range of sizes. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick purchase. We will be shopping here in the future. read more

Buyers Beware!! This goodwill store marks up merchandise extremely high without authenticating. I recently bought two pairs of USED men's shoes for $30 a piece! when I got home i discovered they were knock offs. When I went back to the store to return the merchandise the staff was very rude, issued no apology, and rolled their eyes at me like I was an inconvenience. I was then issued a gift card instead of a full refund to my credit card. I am also a regular customer!...not good... read more
