I will say it did say to remove shoes but lots of bigger kids were just running wild through this space with their shoes on and it was a bit much so we didn't stay playing in there long for fear our little would get trampled. Nice to have an area for babies in theory, but without someone running the area it's just not being respected which again is more on the parents supervision (or lack there of). I was at the shelter many times bringing donated food and visiting with staff and residents and I also was a volunteer. I was an RN for 40 years and I have never witnessed staff with such genuine caring, generosity and true Christian hearts. Jennifer Bero, Executive Director and her support staff and Rena Idleburg, Shelter Manager and her staff bend over backwards to accommodate the needs of the residents, extend their time at the shelter if needed, provide Advocates and Bible study classes and anything that is needed for these lovely young ladies and their children to become independent in their lives and have God's Grace wherever they go. Despite all the challenges working with the homeless can bring, this staff always meets it with professionalism, calm and kindness. If you want a worthy non-profit to support this is the one!

After the exam, I was told straight up that my dog didn't need dental cleaning, so I could not book the service. I decided to purchase heartworm preventatives using their online pharmacy, but after EIGHT attempts in a month to get the medication, the order was rejected EVERY SINGLE TIME by their veterinarian. Each time the reason was that there was a prescription on file already so they could not approve an order request, but there WAS no prescription on file to begin with. All I can assume is that Pawproject wants my dog to get heartworm infection and die. I hate Pawproject and will report them to the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medicine. Don't go there.
