Their credit card machine was not working well after I had put my card in it. The staff assured me that I would not be double charged when they rang it up on a different machine, but it was charged twice. They told me to just watch and let them know if it went through twice. When I called, they told me that I needed to drive the half hour to their store and bring in my receipt and my bank statement to prove that it had happened. Since I did not think that this was fair since it was their error, I called my bank and disputed the charge. Awaiting to see if Goodwill now decides to challenge the dispute. Very poor customer service when they told me they knew their machines were not working correctly but assured me that it could not be charged twice and that it would be easy to correct. read more

I really like this goodwill. I would specifically recommend it to college students working on outfitting their new dorm or apartment with kitchenware, because you can get very high quality stuff for great prices. My girlfriend and I have acquired most of the pieces to a $300 set of plates, bowls, etc. for under $30. Their inventory is fast-changing, so it's a fun place to stop in fairly often and see what they've got. It has a nicer, less dingy feel to it than Saver's. read more

Same store kit that all the Goodwills popping up all over have. Brightly lit, Target rejects, a case with old "valuable" items to bid on, end caps with new stuff and bins at the front for one last purchase. Their bins had a bunch of Paul Frank cutesy pie items that Target had clearanced out. This one also had a lot of really great and interesting book titles to choose from and are reasonably priced. I like perusing the VHS aisles for their .49 movies. Ever notice that all the thrift stores always have the same titles: -Titanic -Cocktail -Air Force One all with about 5 copies of each. This one is no different. I will say for a Goodwill, their bathrooms were very nice and clean! read more

This Goodwill location has a nice selection of household goods, and a lot of gently used clothing. You can find what you're looking for and save a few dollars. Around the corner they have a used medical equipment division where you can rent medical equipment inexpensively. The best thing about this location is that they have a drive-through drop off, which makes dropping off your used clothing and other goods quick and easy. They, like most thrift stores this time of the year, have a large selection of costumes and Halloween goods. read more

I've been an avid customer over the last 2+ years. During that span of time I have observed the pricing of items shift from reasonable thrift-store pricing to, in many cases, a full retail model. In many cases, tagged items coming from Big Lots and Target are priced no differently. On rare occasion, even more than they had been previously marked. The cost of items in the display case is ridiculous in comparison to previous years. For example, the same new Bluetooth speaker I purchased last year for $14.99 was priced at $29.99 today. Other items in the display case are priced at near full retail, in particular shaving cartridges and electric toothbrush heads. Jeans with new tags, which had previously been priced under $10, are now consistently in the $15 range. I have seen a couple designer jeans and pants, with tags, marked at $29.99. Used designer jeans are even creeping up into double-digit price range. Often at prices higher than they might be when on clearance at traditional retailers. While the phasing out of stickers on their books prevents one from encountering the occasional $4.99 title (which was ridiculous), there are no longer 10/$2 sales. The pricing structure has impacted the frequency of my visits, donations and rounding up at the register. I have other thrifting friends who have expressed very similar observations and frustration. This store has gone from one that an individual could frequently encounter very good deals, to one that is quite frustrating to visit. This is all related to their increased pricing structure. I've visited other regional Goodwill stores, in particular, locations in the West Metro suburbs. Many of which have a better selection of products at more reasonable prices. Unless prices come down to earth, I'll stop going all-together, and make more frequent visits to Goodwill stores in the Twin Cities. While the increasing pricing structure is the primary reason for my negative review, I am also concerned about the accessible navigation of the store itself. Shopping continues to be a difficult task when more than one person is in an aisle, especially when looking for clothes. This is rather ironic, considering the barriers this creates for individuals with disabilities. One might reasonably conclude that an organization priding itself on job training programs for individuals with disabilities would design more accessible floor space. The only reason I am providing more than one star is the fact that I have been very impressed with the customer services of employees. Especially the non-managerial veteran staff members, who tend to have better patience and customer support than some (not all) of their supervisors. read more

Love goodwill. The prices are just right! The store is bright and clean and the staff is friendly. I love that they have such good sale days. It's my go to place for books for my kids. And on kids day, kids books are half price as well! Can't beat that! I can always find something to get when I'm there! read more

I like the 3 books for $1.29 and the 10 book Tuesdays. 10 books for $1.29. The selection is nice, and since they've hooked up with Targets throw-aways it's an even better selection minus sometimes the prices are higher than Target's. read more

Lovely staff! Always happy to see you, and so very friendly! Great selection of items, awesome sales, and worthy cause. Bring your own bags because they are running out! The only issue with this store is the mob scene on sale days. If only the other shoppers were as pleasant as the staff! Clean, well lighted store. read more
