Terribly overpriced selection that is higher than surrounding locations. When asked why, leadership told me that it's "management discretion" and basically that if I didn't like it then go to a different location. I found a single toy bowling ball (like from a kids' set) for $3. Three separate toys for kids for $15 each. Seriously? They were beat up and gross. ​ Pricing shouldn't be subjective. Shouldn't be based on a brand name. Shouldn't be based on material. If your inventory is donated to you then price gouging your customers is disgusting and exploitation. I donate $500+ of merchandise annually and starting today I will never donate another penny of anything but junk to Goodwill. Also, the store is unkempt and smells like excrement. Wonderful , has great things and name brand clothing like champion Nike etc. Hardly packed and employees are very nice I recommend this good will you will find some cool stuff and maybe you will go home with an item or two :) read more

Goodwill in Milford is an absolute joke.. they say to come back after a week when prices will be marked down in an item but there have been things there for months with the same price on it. Let's not forget this is supposed to be a store that helps lower income people.. who pays ten dollars for a chipped plate or 4 bucks for bucks for pit stained T-shirt's? My wife loves Goodwill, so part of any vacation is to visit the local Goodwill and take in the sights, sounds, and smells of thrift. No kidding...she has dragged me to 10- count 'em, 10- stores in ONE day, so when I lay it down, I speak with authority. Listen. 1. Lighting: A- Of the utmost importance when trying to identify stains of bodily fluids on that sweet pair of Gitano jeans. Like wearing a stranger's puss? Boils? Unmentionable drippages? Yes indeed, lighting is important, and this store hides no secrets. 2. Musak: D. Whatever pop station was on was dreadful. I can deal with most, but this was obnoxious. Let me shop in peace without stressing me out. I'm here to look, analyze, imagine, and decide. Let me do it in peace. 3. Cleanliness: A-. I'm not about to lick the floor to find out how clean it really is, but dust bunnies from the inside of Uncle Jerry's slippers can't hide here. Refer to #1, lighting. 4. Selection: B. Men's section is oft the Achillies' heel of a Goodwill's selection, but this wasn't bad. Thin in some areas, but overall, acceptable. Still maddening was the arrangement of the pants, sorted by color. Ugh. Nothing like looking through 30 pairs of tan khakis for that magical and elusive 34/30. Sort 'em by size, people, and I'll do the rest! Otherwise, reasonable number of quality names floating about. Can't vouch for the womens' clothes (I don't roll that way); housewares were the usual assortment of flotsam. 5. Smell: A. Some Goodwill stores seem to absorb the odors of their clientele, while others radiate the odors of previous mothball-ridden closets. True greatness is for a Goodwill to achieve neither. Not lemony-fresh, but certainly above the average. 6. Employees: B+ Seemed to be working, and not complaining about working, as seems to be a trend- not just in Goodwill, but America. Come on, people, buck up, it isn't that hard to put clothes back on a rack. Millford, DE, you score well today on the work-ethic-o-meter! BONUS: The new $12 t-shirt for sale by the register that says "I Love Thrifting" with the Goodwill logo. My wife is so getting that for Christmas, if only I can find one on the used rack for $3.00 between now and Christmas! Horrible, money-hungry establishment hiding behind the word, 'charity'. The usually dirty store is overrun with donations they receive for FREE and price near new-retail. The original intention of such a place was 'to help the needy' but, they go above and beyond to rip people off. The store is not maintained, has a horrible mildew stench and customer service is a joke. You'll often have to wait for someone to return to the cash register to assist you, as they're too busy playing on their cell phone or chatting with coworkers. read more

This location gets some nice stuff in every once and a while. Although they are a little pricy for a second hand shop.

I can't get over how expensive this Goodwill is! I was looking at household items. Glassware, figurines and such. Very shocked and disappointed. You're not an antique store, Goodwill. Rethink those prices! Left without making a purchase, and will not return. read more

New location in Milford - huge and clean and very nice. Will be even better when they accumulate more stock. Eerily familiar of the Camden Goodwill. The only thrift store I've been to that lets you return something (electronic) if it doesn't work! read more

Just opened, clean, well lit and well organized thrift store. Worth a visit.

I went in this morning to donate clothes and shoes & stood around for a half an hour. There was four people working there at the time besides the cashier who made several calls to have someone bring up a receipt for the items. After 20 minutes three employees came out of a back room and proceeded to a side room (the cashier made another call for assistance). I was so frustrated I left the establishment only to come back 15 minutes later & requested the manager. Jasmine the manager told me they were very busy & they didn't have time to receive donations but she could at this time. Wow. What a joke!!! read more

Having just moved to the DelMarVa area, I was pleasantly pleased with the Milford Goodwill. I have lived in many different parts of the US and have shopped thrift for years. This location was clean and well organized. I have been able to find many good deals to decorate my new house. The manager is very friendly and I have never had any issues with the staff. This store has quickly become my favorite thrift store in the area. read more
