I will be back when I am in need of items for my home.

Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.

So we looked at the woman, then at each other and simultaneously walked out the door. I understand the concept of wanting to leave on time, but that's never the way to treat a customer. I know personally if I feel rushed, I'm not going to buy anything. Customer service is an important part of any business and if that fails, everything else will too. Hopefully they'll work on improving theirs, but either way I won't be returning.

This was a relatively large Goodwill, and had a great selection of clothes. As with most thrift…read morestores, they had their fair share of outdated junk, but, they also had plenty of newer or in-style clothes, and tons of nice business attire. There was also a decent selection of furniture, housewares, books, electronics, and toys. I got several nice frames for $2 each. Goodwill prices in general are pretty high for thrift, but this one has some nice pieces that were worth it. For instance, shirts were $5.99 which is kind of high, but I got a couple 100% merino wool sweaters for that price, which is good for such well made items. Staff were constantly putting out new items the whole time we were in there.

My only complaint are the narrow isles between displays and Goodwill needs to put up notices in their carts for shoppers not to park their shopping carts in the isles. Some shoppers park their cart in the isles and go texting in their phones oblivious of other shoppers who need to pass through or look up items in the displays. Tell shoppers to park their carts outside isles so everyone can shop uninterrupted.

It's neatly organized and everything is high quality. As a first time consigner, the process is very easy and affordable. You can do what they call "walk-in Wednesday" and bring up to 15 items to consign and only pay a $5 fee to open an account. Several of my items sold and the whole process is simple. I would recommend shopping here for sure and if you want to get rid of some items you no longer wear, give consigning a go. They even sent me a handwritten card in the mail to thank me for my business. Top notch customer service in my opinion.
