These weren't worn-out items. Many pieces were either unworn or in excellent condition. They called us back and said they decided not to take anything due to the "condition." Three full bags. All rejected. It was honestly a huge waste of time -- especially when you take the effort to carefully select higher-end, on-trend brands. Out of curiosity, we brought the exact same bags to Plato's Closet beforehand. They offered us over $200 for everything. So clearly, the "condition" wasn't the issue. Safe to say we'll be taking our business to Plato's Closet from now on. If you value your time and have quality brands, you might want to consider doing the same. Then they asked me if I wanted to donate my items. Why would I donate my items to a place that's going to turn around and sell them for an exorbitant profit. I think they were hoping that I wouldn't go back to pick up my items so they can make a profit off of me.

Their employees are not paid!!!! The 90% off sales are insane and We love seeing their volunteers friendly faces every time we go in. Being a Single mom of 2 boys this place has been an absolute blessing for name brand clothing for them and the best spot for teacher and classmate gifts! Saved a ton of money buying nice used sports equipment here as well. I go once a week at least sometimes twice. As far as the mask comments, I choose not to wear one. The volunteers are of many ethnic backgrounds and I've never , ever seen any racially motivated anything happening in this store !!! Every one is helpful and very accommodating. **** keep in mind this store like most other stores during COVID does not offer a public restroom. They do not have to either. I simply run across the street to any of the restaurants and use their restroom if needed. Also keep in mind nobody likes unattended children running through a store filled with glass ware and other antiques and breakables.

That said, pricing can be a bit hit or complete miss. Sometimes items still have their original retail tags and are priced the same--or even higher--which can be surprising for a thrift store. I've also noticed some pieces labeled as higher-end brands that were not authentic (higher end fitness clothing), so it's worth double-checking if you're familiar with those brands. Photo I attached is something that was 3.99 at GoodWill that they were selling for 20.99. They must have completed missed removing goodwill's tag. Overall, it's still a fun place to treasure hunt, just shop thoughtfully and you may score something great.

It's just a horrible experience donating to this location. Previously I met a young man that was very polite but this older employee was so bad I don't think I'll donate clothes or toys there ever again. He shouted at me I couldn't read a sign and when I offered to back up he said nothing. No thank or anything. He's a very, very angry man and I strongly recommend no one donate if they encounter him. They…read morechanged their pricing structure and the prices are now so outrageous , that the shelves and racks are now filled with items that haven't sold in over 120 days. Items that sell for $20 at other thrift stores are $100 . Clothing that sells for $2 elsewhere is $25. After 90 days , they discount some of the items by 40% , which means they are still overpriced. I noticed many items had the tags blacked out to remove the discount. We spent more than an hour and could not justify making a purchase . I won't return.
