Their hours are Monday-Friday 10-2. I didn't know this place existed until my usual shoe place said they don't do boots with zippers. Only Goodyear would work on them. I drove straight from that place to Goodyear, and while I was there, 2 more people came looking for a shoe place that does what others don't/can't/won't. She warned me ahead of time that there were a number of pairs of zippered boots ahead of mine, so it wouldn't be a super quick turnaround. I told her to take her time, that they were unwearable in that condition, so waiting on a repair wouldn't change that fact. I grew up in a different city in a different state, but I knew this place. It's the place that's been there for years; where your parents and grandparents always went; where things are done for the customer not just for the money. Once the center of a bustling downtown, it's where people from every walk of life would come on the way to work, or at lunch and knew the staff by name. Open hours are not correct on Yelp. Not open on Saturday. Went on Saturday to see a homeless person sleeping at the doorway. Hmmmm!

I recently took approximately 10 prs of shoes here; 4 prs at a time. I love sling back shoes and because I recently lost weight some of the straps had to me amended (no buckles just had elastic). Had to stretch a few pair because of a knot on top of my great toes (hallux ridigus). She did an outstanding job saving my shoes and feet from pain. I highly recommend this shop. The only thing is parking sucks and I received a $30 parking ticket. Not her fault. read more

When unforeseen circumstances required me to wear work boots that had been shelved (dirty) for a very long time we took them to the Goodyear Shoe Hospital. I expected them to reject the task but instead they did an outstanding job restoring my Boots to wearable condition. Their price was very fair and work was completed in a timely manner. I was scheduled to go out of town early on a Thursday morning. My shoes were not scheduled to be ready until the next week. I stopped by the store to see if they happened to be ready. When I mentioned that I was hoping they would be ready because I was going out of town, the owner INSISTED on repairing them that afternoon. They looked great and I was able to take them on my trip. I don't know many businesses where I can get that kind of customer service along with quality work. I have been a customer for several years and will continue to do business there. read more
