He told them Medicare. If doctors actually cared the first question would be what kind of problem are you experiencing? But, no, it's "what insurance do you have"? Then they asked which doctor he wanted to see. He told them one of the men I forget which one. They then told him that, sorry, only one of our doctors is accepting Medicare. Oh, that's brilliant. Why doesn't it say that on the list of insurance that you accept? Next to Medicare it should say Dr. So and so only. The rest are more concerned about their money than actually helping you which is why they don't accept Medicare because that cuts into their paycheck. Well, Medicare is all he has. He's disabled and on disability. Like millions of other people who worked all their lives this is all he has now and this place won't give him the time of day. Then they asked which medication he's already taking. He told them. They placed him on hold and came back and told him that due to the fact that he's already taking controlled substances they can't accept him as a patient. What!?! These "controlled substances" he's already taking are prescriptions from another doctor and have nothing to do with this place. He was looking for a family doctor to help him with everything else, like when he's sick, not the medicine he is already getting elsewhere for other reasons. Any medicine prescribed by a doctor is a controlled substance. That's why you have to go to a doctor to get it. So if you're seeing a separate doctor for specialized reasons but still need a family doctor for basic reasons don't bother with these money-hungry jerks. This is absolutely outrageous. None of these charlatans should be allowed to call themselves doctors. All they care about is their money, not you. If you're poor, don't have good insurance or any insurance, disabled, on Medicare, already getting medicine from another doctor, etc, don't even bother calling this place. All they care about is their money. They don't care if you die.

Thanks to her and her staff, I am living a normal life and she keeps me almost pain free and that is a HUGE accomplishment! Most people that have Chiari Malformation and Syringomelia take pain pills several times every day and still some are in walkers and wheelchairs. I only take pain medicine a couple times a month and I walk my neighborhood with friends!!! Dr Kim is not your typical chiropractor. If you have chronic pain or pain in general, you owe it to yourself to have a consultation with Dr Kim!

His nurse checked with him and he indicated that I could stop it at any time, so I discontinued taking it and the next day had a seizure . I researched the situation and found out you had to slowly discontinue so you did not have a seizure. I spent 3 days on WK Bossier because of Nguyen's malpractice . Because of the seizure I have an appt. with my Cardiologist due to afib caused by the seizure. Needless to say, I have found a new doctor and could not recommend this doctor!!!!!!!!!
