This is not the restaurant you would expect to find in the outer suburbs and would indeed fit in extremely well down in Lygon street. But we sure are glad it has popped out here. Delicious Italian food, ample serves, attentive staff, great menu, reasonably priced. And you can take your leftovers home in a soggy bag. We'll be back!

When I tried again it said I had already placed an order so I rang the store to confirm that they had actually received the order. After being on hold for a while I spoke to a man. I told him what was going on and he asked me if I wanted to place an order. I said no I wanted to check if he already had mine. He then asked me if my payment had been declined (???). I explained my problem again. He said something inaudible so I asked to speak to someone else so he hung up on me. I rang back and was immediately placed on hold. However, there was no music, just their voices in the background. After waiting quite a while I yelled out to see if they could hear me and when no one answered, I hung up and called back. I spent the next half an hour getting the engaged signal. I know you are probably wondering why I kept trying but I wasn't sure if perhaps my order was on the way and I didn't want to go out and buy something else before I knew for sure. So I finally get through and I asked for the manager. He said he was the manager. I said you were the guy who hung up on me before and he denied it. I explained my problem, he starts talking in a language I can't understand then disappears from the phone. I said hello are you there? then someone else gets on the phone. I told him my problem and he said the website is down and they can't get orders through the internet. I asked him if I could order the same thing on the phone and still get it at the online price. He said no I have to be online. I said but I can't order online you're website is down. He said ok I'll try to do it. I told him I wanted the 3 pizzas, garlic bread and coke, gave him all the info etc. Then I said I wanted the 2 sides for $7. He said I can't get 2 sides for $7. I said I could if I was online. He said but you're not online and I said yes I know that, I can't get online (like this was the first time he has ever heard this). Meanwhile I can hear another customer in the background also complaining that he couldn't order online and was miffed that he couldn't get it at online prices. So the guy says he'll have to put his manager on. I asked if the guy I was speaking to first was the manager and he said no. So I said but he told me he was (sound of tumbleweeds) .Anyway he takes my order, repeats it back to me then says he'll put it through. Next thing I know there is music in my ear again. So I'm waiting for him to come back on then the phone hangs up. So I ring again and get someone different and I ask him if they have an order for me. He says I think it just went out. I said I'd be really surprised because I only ordered it 2 seconds ago. He says there is nothing in his system. I said can you ask the other phone operators because I just placed an order. He goes off and tells me there is no order for me. I said this is bloody ridiculous, I've been trying to place an order for an hour. He says so do you want to order or do you want to cancel the order. I said how can I cancel an order that doesn't exist? He gets really grumpy with me and says if you stop talking I can explain. So I don't say anything (even though I wasn't saying anything to begin with) and he says can I talk now? And I said yes that is what the long silent gap was for. He begins to go on and on about how the website is down and that it's not his fault because its in America and he has no control over it then he goes on saying nobody has hung up on me (bull s**t) it's just because the phones are busy (???) When he finally stops ranting I said I don't care about any of that, I just want to order food and have it delivered to me so I can eat it, can I have it at the online prices? He said no you have to go online for that (after he just spent all that time telling me how the website is down!) I finally had enough and hung up. I will never ever ever ever order from there again.
