I suppose "Haslemere Motorcycles" is their brand. I recently ate in a tapas bar called Cafe Kansas in Valencia. Did they used to do tapas in Kansas? If they HAD renamed themselves to Cafe Valencia, how would they distinguish themselves from the million other tapas bars in Valencia? Perhaps it is questions such as these that preserved the Haslemere moniker...but I digress. I used them once for my MOT, and once for a fairly routine repair of a fuel line leak on my Triumph Sprint ST. Alas, they have had to drop the Triumph cert they carried, so it will be more difficult to justify taking my bike to them for parts and service, but I still may use them for MOT. The owner is friendly, and a fellow Californian. The service and parts guys have been helpful and their location very accessible. They'll even arrange for a pickup (for a price) if your bike is too far gone to move. It's hard to be clever about motorcycle service. In my experience, the place either sucks, or it doesn't. They're there to do a job, do it right the first time, and get on with it. In my book, they did that, so I would recommend them, and might go looking there when I buy my next ride.

I had decided to get back into motorbikes after a period of at least thirty years and was a little apprehensive as you would expect I was greeted by the Sales Manager Mark Lucock, who spent sometime discussing my thoughts and expectations. With little fuss two bikes were made available for me to test over a varied route of country roads and duel carriage ways. I was given plenty of time to consider the options and never felt under pressure. The purchasing process was explained in a clear and concise fashion and I was kept informed in a timely and professional basis. I also needed guidance with protective gear and more than enough time was give to me to check through the extensive range in stock. I was very happy to purchase my helmet, jacket safety trousers and boots from their parts department. The hand over was efficient and everything explained to me before I road away on my new machine. Time was even given to take a photograph of me with my new pride and joy! (it is the little things that make a difference). The service and parts department staff are all very helpful and friendly and nothing ever seems to much trouble. I can honestly say that my bike felt different after service which gives you confidence a good job has been done. I decided to sell this month (October 2015) and contacted Mark to discuss how this could be achieved. We agreed an SOR price and within a few weeks the bike had been sold. The whole team at Haslemere Motorcycles deserve a pat on the back. I am a fussy bugger and in truth my experience over the last two years has been first rate. So, credit where credit is due and if you are looking for a bike - look no further.

This new premises is ideal and the workshop excellent, being run by Steve Holtom who is a well qualified engineer. Primarily a Kawasaki dealership, they do servicing on other machines especially Ducati. They have a wide range of high quality second hand machines in stock. The owner, David Alderton, has long experience in the motorcycle business and treats every customer with respect.

The Oxford road shop seemed a more customer friendly business ,two shops to look around and good for the tyre kickers as some bike were parked outside in the fine weather , i think the guy who gave the bad revue should realize when your purchasing a bike you want undivided attention if your about to part with your hard earned cash ! So maybe George White would be worth a visit they gave great service and sold bikes cheaper than anyone else . The old saying , Get what you pay for comes to mind .

The showroom is reasonably large and has a good range of models, and there are always bikes available for test rides. My partner has used them for over a decade and always found service and support to be efficient and very friendly. They're not the cheapest, but they do provide detailed invoices so you know how the costs are compiled (giving hourly rates etc). I recently bought my new bike from them and found them helpful, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. There's a motorcycle clothing and accessories business next door (I think run by Infinity), whihc can also be accessed through the bike showroom. The pavement at the front is wide and forms a forecourt, so there's room to park your bike off-road if you want to.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS…read more This is probably the first negative review I've ever written and I cannot stress how awful my experience of Revolution Bikes has been. They didn't communicate, carried out repairs without my authorisation, fitted non-Ducati parts, used a sealant on the tank that is not rated for petrol immersion, and I think that they invented the faults in the first place. After spending hundreds of pounds and being shouted at by Tom - my bike still has the same fault. I could allow an issue with workmanship but Tom is a person to avoid at all costs - he is unstable, flies off the handle and gets abusive on the phone, refuses to cooperate and is so full of how good Revolution are that he simply refuses to listen to a customer. Based on my experience, Revolution's policy is to not communicate with customers, do whatever they want with your bike, and shout abuse at you if you then question any of this. To top it off, they refuse to reply to emails and only ever responded to a registered letter that threatens legal action. In all my years of owning and operating vehicles, I have NEVER come across such a terrible outfit. If I could, I would leave 10 more reviews to try and help people avoid this operation.

I work on bikes myself, and ask them to do some of the harder jobs because I know they will be done right - and the mechanics will be glad to explain what they have done in as much detail as you want. Recently I asked them to look at a friend's SV650 which had a mis-fire at high revs which I couldn't solve, but suspected that it was the igniter. The proprietor very tactfully explained that yes, it sounded exactly like an ignition problem - but in fact it was an aftermarket air filter that I hadn't spotted. He was right, and saved my friend a large amount of time and money.

Terrible/Aggressive service - staff ganged up causing intimidation. Bike broke down& RAC diagnosed…read moreproblem before going to MTC who I told of the problem& that RAC diagnosed it. MTC ordered part on a 24 hour delivery& said work would be done tomorrow. Next day I was told part hadn't arrived so work was not done. Went to pick up bike as was due to work all the coming week. MTC tried to force a courtesy bike on me but as I couldn't make it back that week I said no. Manager then became aggressive& refused to give my bike back. He said if I wanted to take it I had to pay a deposit on the part they ordered as well as 1/2hour labour to diagnose problem. When I said I no longer wanted the part as it hadn't arrived on time, he raised the bill to another 1/2 hour labour to put the bike back together.Then said I could have it back for 1/2 hour labour cost but would have to put it back together myself outside the shop. Had to pay to get bike back. Terrible service! Will never use them again!
