DIDN'T EVER RECHECK IT - EVEN AT DISCHARGE!! 2. Didn't ask about allergies 3. Never asked my pain level 4. Did not weigh me 5. Did not reconcile my home meds 6. 12-year old resident got an attitude because I refused to take the 5-dose, 14-day rabies shot series because I TOLD HIM, the cat isn't sick!! He's MY cat, and he was sleeping on the bed RIGHT BESIDE ME!! The only reason he flipped out was he does NOT like other cats and unbeknownst to me, another kitty had been hiding in my dresser and it freaked him out when he saw him and a fight ensued. I just got caught in the crossfire. He brought THAT up 3 more times before giving me a single dose of Augmentin and a script (and an xray that I probably didn't need). I specifically asked for an IV loading dose of Unasyn and a shot of SoluMedrol since my hand was swollen to twice its normal size (also because I wouldn't be able to get the Rx filled until after work the next day) - which he purely ignored. Never checked my radial pulse or capillary refill, either.

Great Staff, Nice Facility…read more A few months ago I came to this ER after a karate fight dislocated my knee. Dr. Sykes and his team took great care of me. The only downside was it was after 8pm so they couldn't do an MRI for me. Here I am again here now for a crazy kidney stone and the staff has has been really great. My ER provider was Jason Roswell PA. He was professional and efficient. He got my treatment handled and communicated well. The ER Nurse Allison Hamilton was also super friendly and did a great job. She took the time to handle my questions and needs. The CAT scan woman is also always super great. It's my second time having her scan me so far. I don't remember her name but we have almost the same exact birthday! My hospitalist Dr. Ektaben Patel was really nice and friendly. They are slammed today and she made sure she spent time and got me handled. Nurse Anna LPN was a gem. She was so polite and I appreciate her efforts. Dietician Rebecca Power was knowledgeable and friendly and wanted to make sure my dietary needs were met. Well that's where I am so far on this day's hospital festivities. Hopefully this kidney stone will leave me so I can go home soon. I do not know why there are so many bad reviews for this place.

They flipped out, called and threatened my hospice company, and used it as an excuse to use my fingerprint while I was unconscious to snoop through my cell phone. When I opened it, it was on a personal conversation I had with an inmate. Talk about first amendment violations! Nosy Parkers. I am still outraged months later.​ As a result of their threats my hospice company caved. Now I have zero care, zero meds, and lay in bed consumed with pain 24/7 because I'm unable to leave my residence. I'd give all of you negative stars if I could.

Dr. Edwards explained what was going on in a way that we could understand. Dr Edwards prayed with us over our dog before we started the procedure. It truly meant a lot. They were all very comforting to us. Everyone showed empathy and made us feel cared for. It made this difficult process so much easier. I highly recommend this vet!

She looked through the bill and then talked to the vet and got it down to $700 and then we got another $130 back. She figured out how they could do outpatient care for him for the day and then send him home with us. When I took him to my regular vet on Monday morning, he was appalled. They had tried to talk me into a surgery for him. They had tried all kinds of stuff. It was just the worst experience I've ever had and I have been to a emergency vet quite a few times over the years with dogs and cats. I do not recommend going here if you're gonna go somewhere for an emergency vet go to VCSG in Chattanooga.

Every member of the staff I encountered treated me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern. My room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The Environmental Services staff did an outstanding job keeping everything spotless. On the first morning of my stay, my wife immediately commented on how clean the room looked--something she had never said during any previous hospital stay. The staff thoroughly cleaned and dusted the room, mopped the floor, and even changed the trash bag even though it was barely full. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I also noticed a small device under the sink that I later learned was a Synexis air purification system. It operates so quietly that I never heard it, but I was impressed to learn that it continuously helps improve air and surface quality by generating a safe form of hydrogen peroxide. It was reassuring to see Northside Hospital Cherokee investing in technology that helps protect patients from the spread of germs. The food service exceeded my expectations. There was a wide variety of menu choices, the meals arrived on schedule, the portions were generous, the food was served at the proper temperature, and every meal was exactly what I ordered. Hospital food often gets a bad reputation, but that certainly wasn't my experience here. My discharge process was one of the smoothest I've ever experienced. Nurse Brenda made sure my wife and I had everything packed so nothing was left behind. She asked my wife to bring the car around to the entrance, and within just a couple of minutes I was on my way home. The entire process was efficient, organized, and stress-free. The highlight of my stay, however, was the nursing staff. Their compassion, professionalism, and positive attitudes made all the difference. Brenda and Elizabeth cared for me during the day, while Nancy and another night-shift nurse--whose name I unfortunately cannot remember--provided excellent care overnight. Every one of them treated me with respect and kindness, and they always seemed to have a smile on their face. They should be highly commended for their dedication to their patients. If I ever need hospital care again and have a choice, Northside Hospital Cherokee will be my first choice without hesitation. Thank you to everyone who made my stay such a positive experience. We are at over three hours for an X-ray with no end in sight. No one in the lobby can tell you anything and are annoyed if you attempt to get any information for your loved one. I called Piedmont Jasper over a hour ago and they said they could take her right back. Big mistake to try to wait this out. This place is terrible. It would be fantastic to have choices. Perhaps it would also make this place strive to be better.

The doctor did admit there were many kidney stones but claimed my primary reason for being there was for observation of drug withdrawal with no mention of several kidney stones and the excruciating chronic pain. This lie began with a cop who misdiagnosed me when 911 was called in March, and ER doctor in Fannin County echoed the same and insisted that's what happened, and even bullied me by saying he would personally make sure I never received hospice again and would not treat me for anything if I showed up in his ER ever again. I feel like my kidneys are shutting down and yet this electronic medical history full of falsehoods is following me around, preventing me from getting the medical care I so desperately need. America, where we rate 34th in medical care in so-called first world countries.
