Gordy's is the best location in Duluth to seek out plant variety. The workers are more than happy to help you find something specific or carry your plant friends to your car. They work with the local colleges to help with plant events and assist with ideas. Great people, great place. read more

My family has been going here for 50 years to buy hanging baskets for the deck of our cabin. It is a relished tradition, signaling summer at the lake. I just purchased 4 baskets, buy 3 get one free has been there motto. I was helped out by Scott, a super nice guy who helped me get them down from the hanging racks and even brought them to my vehicle and helped put them in, so they weren't damaged. Checkout was by a hard working Duluth East HS recent graduate, Maija. Please don't get your baskets at another store, same price but professionally grown in their own greenhouse. The selection at this place is terrible, I never find what I'm looking for and end up having to buy elsewhere. I don't even want to buy anything when I'm there anyway because the line at the cash register is too long. read more

They might not have as many books as a Barnes and nobles but they have staff that can help you order books you want. The display were very cute and in their selections I found j book I never heard of but definitely will be reading. Actually I started it then stopped because I am reading another book on my kindle and listening to another on my audibles. They also have several small trinkets. I could spend a long time in here .
