Unfortunately, both of them left, and the quality of my experience declined significantly after that. The stylist I was reassigned to was not Master-level, and there appeared to be an unusually high turnover rate overall. Due to the inconsistency and decline in service, I made the decision to cancel my membership. Despite canceling, my membership was not properly terminated, and I was charged again. When I contacted the PV location regarding the billing error, they refused to refund the charge. This was extremely disappointing. Had the situation been handled professionally with a refund, I would have considered returning in the future or referring others. Instead, the lack of accountability and poor customer service -- particularly at the PV location -- has ensured that I will not return and will give a negative review everywhere I can. I was told I would NOT be getting a refund and could talk to nobody else about my experience at PV or Desert Ridge.

Updating my review due the owners response - I am completely confused why the owner is lying in their response. I came back in and showed her the bumps all over my eyebrows (reposting the photo again) and said they were on fire which started right when the tech put the lamination on my eyebrows. She agreed she saw the bumps and put an aloe product all over them. I sat there talking to her for ten minutes before the burning finally started letting up. This was almost two days after I had it done and at one point my eyes were on fire as well. She admitted they use very high strength products. I have had many laminations done before with no burning reactions so I know this isn't normal. She also asked me to delete my original post since she was refunding me. Just that alone shows you who this person is.

My appointment was scheduled for 3:45, and I arrived about 10 minutes early. Since there isn't a receptionist, I checked myself in and waited. Around 3:47, Tara popped her head out and let me know she'd need about 7 more minutes, which was completely understandable. However, it ended up being closer to 15 minutes. Around 4, she came out with her previous client, checked her out, and booked her next appointment before bringing me back. I totally understand that appointments can run over, and things happen, but I felt like there wasn't much acknowledgment of the delay or consideration for my time. Thankfully, I didn't have anywhere else I needed to be, but if I had, it could have been frustrating. I think what stood out to me most is that if I had shown up 15 minutes late, I likely would have been charged a fee or asked to reschedule. I believe that same respect for clients' time should go both ways. With that being said, I probably won't be back. The space was beautiful and the shop was cute though.
