His demeanor was rather uncooperative and discourteous. I observed that preceding customers were provided with three to four chips and were even encouraged to take additional quantities. This discrepancy in policy enforcement is a matter of concern. I recommend addressing this with the employee to ensure consistent and professional service for all patrons. I witnessed several individuals ahead of me receive three to four chips from this employee, and they were even prompted to take more. This inconsistent application of policy is unacceptable. It seems to me, with this much inventory, no one should have to get by on once a month. And, if you need food from the food bank you seem unlikely to have a current drivers license and a home. I don't see how a box a month of dry good will last for 1-2 people. I would suggest weekly and in need only as a requirement. Clothing and supplies. They need money, new clothing, bathroom necessities, games and toys. I was given an introduction to donate because I had new lap blankets and bathroom supplies. It was a good fit and I got a short tour. Now I know what they need I ll try again. Located at first and prince. Plain tan building, no name. Just a logo. Lots of staff to sort and organize and display. Not a price tag in sight. That is a first for me. A Great experience.

If I did not happen to be someone who keeps extensive records to immediately disprove the report point-by-point, that could have truly been a nightmare and caused substantial additional trauma for my daughter. The experiences with Casa did, unfortunately, make her very wary of mental or behavioral health services. 2) I am amazed and endlessly grateful to see the positive changes that have occurred since she stopped getting "help" from the Casa workers. Her confidence and activity levels have soared, she's so much less fearful and depressed and anxious and confused and isolated all the time. I truly wish I would have trusted my own knowledge and instincts and not let these "professionals" keep making my daughter and I feel like they know more about us and what we should do and feel and think than we do. I guess there's some silver lining out of this nightmare. I am thankful that, if nothing else, it definitely made us closer. It's hard for most teenagers to recognize what their parents do for them and appreciate it and see how much we care about them, but after seeing how awful and manipulative and biased and self-serving the employees were, it was really a wake up call for her. She's so much more appreciative and grateful and motivated for both the present and the future now. So I guess at the end of the day, Casa de los Ninos did help us, but unfortunately, it was through the damage caused by their professional incompetence, agenda-pushing, overreaching, undermining, and boundary-crossing.

To the left of the warehouse are grocery items to purchase. Most items are well below store prices. Between each of the sides, there are large boxes that may have stuffed animals, bottled beverages, pet supplies, and so on. The GAP Ministries takes both cash and SNAP cards. I have always found the staff to be polite and helpful. I'm truly grateful for this service.
