Home Depot is finally open! It seems that most of Pickering was also excited about this. There were…read morea lot cars in the parking lot on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Luckily Home Depot is huge so it's a little easier to social distance than at other stores. The door greeter was really attentive and was directing people to different areas based on what they were looking for. We had a return so we were directed to line up in the middle of two aisles that had social distancing stickers that were very spaced out. She let us know that someone would call us over when they were ready for us. I've been waiting to return an item for a few months now. I had ordered something online that didn't really look how I thought it would. The lady that was helping us made it really easy for us. We just had to provide the invoice and the item. She found me in the system and was able to issue the refund back to the card that I used. She instructed me to check my email and I can confirm it came through immediately. I love the plants that Home Depot has. I don't know that much about houseplants but the ones I saw seemed pretty neat and healthy. I wanted to pick up something that might help with cleaning the air. Unfortunately their plants didn't have their actual names listed. It just said what type of plants they were - like succulent or tropical plant. That is not great for someone that doesn't have a green thumb and wants the best outlook for their plant!
