There was too much to look at and so many goods of different brands and styles everywhere. It was hard to go through. Surprisingly, most of the lamps were plastic packaged and not dirty at all! They were brand new! Mostly you see a lot of dirty smudges on products at HomeGoods but in the lighting section the lamps were very clean and brand new. I found some nice goods like a 6 tier mini basket organizer shelf but it was too big for me to carry all the way home and I was about to go to an event before I got here. There was also just 1 large fake fig tree that was very appealing and a nice match to a couch. Not crowded in the midday and lots of parking around it because it is located in the College Point mall. Restrooms were working and it was next to the lighting section. Clean bathrooms.

I had a concerning incident when I visited HomeGoods the other day…read more As I retrieved a cart from the parking area, I placed my toddler inside and began pushing it toward the entrance. Unexpectedly, the cart locked while still in motion--right in the middle of the roadway--and I was left stuck trying to force the cart to move with my child near moving cars. I couldn't just leave it in the middle of the street as that would also be a hazard. There were no visible warning signs in the parking lot to alert shoppers to this locking system. When I mentioned it to customer service, their reply downplayed the situation as an inconvenience and failed to acknowledge the real safety risk, especially with small children involved.

Came by with a friend running errands on a weekday evening and it was fairly quiet. This outdoor…read moremall is located in Glendale and consists of 5 main buildings with a green plaza-type area in the middle. Stores are located on ground, first and second floors, there are some commercial office spaces too. Parking is available for a fee in either structures or in the spaces directly in front of the stores. There are a fair number of stores for what is essentially a glorified strip mall, it's not quite large enough to make it a serious shopping destination, more of a come-by-for-specific stores kind of place. Of the approximately 50 businesses here, a dozen are commercial offices, another dozen service/utility stores (doctors offices, glasses store, UPS, T-mobile), a Regal Cinemas movie theater, a couple hobby stores (anime/manga, games, Bee's Arts & Crafts), several food/drink spots, some apparel/accessories stores (Foot Locker, Forever 21, TJ Maxx, White House/Black Market, Sacca's Suits), a few sports facilities (swim school, NY Sports Club, karate school, laser tag/bounce family fun center) and two home furnishing stores (Home Goods and Ashley Furniture). Probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here though I can see how it's convenient to have these store nearby for those that live in the area. There is a fun 3-story tall street art mural of a boy with big ears on one of the parking structure outer walls.

There's a Chili's, CPK, Pot Noodle, Subway, Don Nico (Mexican) as well as an Auntie Anne's, Mr. Cow's Corndogs, Starbucks, Cold Stone (ice cream) & Hokkaido Cheese Tarts. Not to mention, the biggest T.J.Maxx & Five Below I've ever been to in NY. There's also a HomeGoods, Laser Bounce (arcade), Slime Time, Ulta, Footlocker, an arts & crafts studio, movie theater and a few toy stores. Can definitely be a fun time with kids- the girls even played frisbee & volleyball on the synthetic grass, got bubble tea from Pot Noodle, which was surprisingly good and won some prizes from Laser Bounce too. Not an ideal place for clothing shopping and the parking was quite expensive- $30 for 4 hours but either way, we'll be back :)

Her eye for material and color is spot on. She pushed me to go outside my comfort zone which elevated the look and feel of the space. The flow from our entry way into a large living/dining space and our photo wall of memories makes me smile every time I come home. I appreciated her effort to stay within my budget .. finding less expensive but quality pieces in a few places so that I could get my must haves. It truly was a pleasure to work with her.

She transformed the Studio 300 sq ft to have distinct living, dining, sleeping, and working spaces. She tamed the chaos and created a tranquil space employing textures, artwork, storage, and layout. Our daughter and her puppy love their place. We found the perfect BPC 2 bedroom and needing it move in ready in just 4 weeks, she created a livable contemporary design with custom artwork, sourcing new furnishings, which we never would have picked ourselves, but love, and coordinated all painters and any contractors. On move in day, we filled the pantry, hung our clothes and just started living. What a treat to not have had to worry and just enjoy our new place. No matter what your space, Tina can work her design magic and make it stunningly, comfortably yours.
