We had an amazing experience with Darby and the team at 1 Day Window Treatments. Our Pilates studio needed both shades and drapes, and the first quote we received was from The Shade Store, which was insane, so we immediately brought out several more companies for a consult. Darby was super knowledgable, he understood exactly what we needed, and the prices were very reasonable compared to most of the competition. Because our Studio has two full walls of windows, we need to keep the sun out but also wanted something lighter for an aesthetic look and for some privacy. Darby suggested we do a UV Sun shade closest to the window, and then another track of drapes which we can pull when it's less sunny or at night when we don't need the full sun blocking. So we ordered both blinds and drapes, and both were done within the timeframe Darby initially quoted us (which was faster than the industry standard from what I experienced meeting other companies). The delivery and installation process was also great, as they were quite flexible working with our schedule around all the other work being done in our studio. Stretch the installer was wonderful. The final result is absolutely beautiful, and one of our instructors just today said "I feel like I'm in a spa." I met with 5 different local companies and I can 100% recommend this one and if we build another studio or need something done for our house there is no question we'll be back :) read more

We had shades installed on 9 windows (blackout in the bedroom and light filtering throughout the rest of the apartment). They are fast, efficient and affordable. John came out quickly to measure and show us all of the various options to make sure we made the right choice. Even came on a weekend night! Talk about being flexible. I started with The Shade Store. Great service, but prices were astronomical for my six giant windows that needed automated roller shades. So I went to Yelp and called half a dozen places with good reviews. John was the most responsive, the most honest, the most friendly and gave me the best quote.
