Gotham property management manages the Hoa . They are responsible for hiring the snow removal company. They must hire the cheapest company bc the last two storms has been the worst in my development including this recent one. They were not prepared. The plows never showed up until 6 hours later. didn't clean up the snow, made one shallow barely passable lane down the block from 30" snow fall and maybe will see Bob cats and people come remove snow if we are lucky in the coming days. We pay on time each month mainly for this reason and every single storm the last few times they have dropped the ball. They have one job to manage this and they have faiedl! read more

I've had some very mixed experiences with Gotham. The staff I have spoken to on the phone have been both kind and helpful on occasion, but also highly unprofessional. After leaving a google review (which I admit was done in a moment of frustration following a community pipe burst), I received a call from the someone at Gotham yelling at me for my review. However, there seems to have been some recent improvements! Not sure if there is a change in the owners or something, but maintenance and gardening have been consistent and they repainted the parking lot. I haven't received any bogus complaints / fines about parking my car in my own guest spot for over a year. Hopefully this is a sign of things turning for the better. read more

Great in the beginning when we had them years back, but they were a new starting company then. Quality of service declined afterwards. Don't get me wrong. They were knowledgeable for the most part, but getting them to follow through at times required more effort on my end which is ridiculous since we're the client. My community has told me they had issues reaching them and when we transitioned out, they did not make it any easier. IE: Wrong tax information was given. Not everything was handed off to us or our new management company. My favorite issue was when I had to explain why they should be notifying the entire HOA board and not just 1 individual on the board, when situations arise. Common sense is not so common. This place doesn't know how to Treat people with respect. I had a man that was so nasty on the phone that he said inappropriate stuff because he was rude and unprofessional. So far everyone I dealt with was unprofessional there. They need classes on how to treat people with respect. Its unfortunate we had such a good property management prior to them now we have unprofessional people who don't know there jobs whenever you ask them questions and they hang up the phone because they can't handle their jobs of answering their phones and treating people with respect. If I could give zero I would. All these negative reviews says a lot coming from honest people who had similar views. It says what I am saying which is their incompetent and rude people. read more

I am not sure about the other reviewers but I am on a current Board of Managers and Gotham has been nothing but straight up with us. They took over our property from a former property management company and increased our reserve funds from a near empty account to well above the standard for anyone considering a mortgage to buy into the condo. They managed extensive repair work and other capital improvements without an increase in common charges. This company is high-tech in web service for owners to access their accounts and start work orders, monitor the progress, and completion. The company also provides timely comprehensive financial reports monthly. read more

Gotham manages my HOA. They collect our money and dont do a thing. They are rude, nasty, and disrespectful to fellow homeowners. They have accepted bribes and under the table offerings from contractors without the board, homeowners, or anyones knowledge. They allowed a new construction to tap into our private pipelines and straight up lied to the homeowners and board about it. I was quite upset with the HOA board, but they were even left in the dark regarding this unethical arrangement made by Gotham. They hold meetings twice a year in the middle of our street because they are too cheap to get us a proper meeting location. I asked the board if we could hold a meeting at a hall or office, I was told "this is where Gotham wants it". I would avoid at all cost. They are untrustworthy and are dealing with many violations and complaints as we speak. Michele needs a little help learning how to talk with people as well. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
