Ordered airline tickets thru Bookings.com. Once the order was completed it was transfered to GoToGate. Horrible experience, Flights were cancelled in one day of booking at the end of May 2025 and refund was issued by American Airlines to GoToGate the same day. GoToGate denied receiving the return flight refund while acknowledging got the first leg refund. After months and a dozen calls to them and Bookings.com no resolution. Eventually with Bank of America's help I got the refund credited to my account in early November (6 months later). BOA wasn't the greatest either denying my claim at first. I had a very frustrating experience with this agency. I specifically paid extra for flexible tickets, but discovered later that they had booked me on non-changeable fares with the airline. When I needed to change my dates, I was forced to buy a brand new ticket at full price, meaning I paid twice for the same trip. You're just giving away your money with no service in return, and the support teams seem to be located overseas with zero accountability. My airfare was cancelled in 9/7/2020 (4 years ago!) by the airline. Gotogate WAS refunded by the Pegasus Airlines. It took them 4 years (!) to send me refund. I had no idea they did so through some intermediary that is not familiar to me and not commonly used in the US. The refund link was sorted to my junk mail folder by my email software. Therefore the refund link expired several days before I figured it out and was able to log in. By that time it was too late and the refund link expired. All of this happened 6 months ago. I immediately called Gotogate and after struggling with their insane voicemail system by some miracle got to a live agent. They promised to resend the refund link. As, you may imagine, NOTHING happened. A have called Gotogate no less than 20 times over the course of over 6 months and still have not received my refund! Booked a multi-leg trip through GoToGate, thinking a travel agency would help coordinate everything. Instead, they split the trip into four separate reservations, used a proxy email with one of the airlines (not mine), so I never received any correspondence with check-in details from Wizz Air. GoToGate refused the responsibility when I was charged €47 at the airport, claiming I should have done it online to avoid being charged (I still wonder how if I didn't get appropriate flight info to be able to log in online, which I tried!!!). GoToGate also charged me for seats and baggage, but I still had to pay an additional €10.50 for Wizz Air seat fee and €26.99 Ryanair baggage fee. Still, GoToGate claims I had never paid for WizzAir seat, despite providing proof of payment, while claiming they paid Ryanair, and I should chase it myself. No support, no ownership, just deflection. GoToGate takes your money, adds no value, and walks away when something goes wrong. You will end up paying much more down the line, so book directly with the airlines--this agency is not worth the risk, your time and your money! read more

I have used their services several times. As long as there are no problems, everything is fine, but when flight issues arise, they are completely useless. My situation: a week before my trip, the airline cancelled my flight. Gotogate contacted me and offered a new flight. I had to change my plans a bit, but that's life. The day before the scheduled departure, I received a message from them saying that the airline had not confirmed the flight and that I should contact them directly and, in general, deal with it myself. I'm on the other side of the world, I didn't get any information about which flight or which airline (3 flight segments, operated by LATAM and IBERIA). I don't know who was at fault - the airlines or Gotogate - but the level of support from them was zero. What's more, it was downright problematic, because the airlines kept referring me back to them as the agency through which I had purchased the tickets. Finally, after spending four hours on the phone, I managed to resolve the issue directly with IBERIA. I believe that as an intermediary, they would have been able to handle it much faster and easier than I did, as I was completely unfamiliar with the procedures in such situations and was bouncing between helplines. Day 1 of leaving a bad review related to their company Gotogate: horrible service, empty promises. ultimate SCAM. Customer service we have spoken to: ADITYA, VALENTINA and SIMRAM. We have spoken to more but did not take note of the names then. We called in multiple times regarding name change for our flight ticket and the customer service all told us it is possible. We then made payment for this change and the gotogate website accepted it. However it has been at least 2 days and there is no change being made so we called in to check. To which, now the customer helpline operator is saying it is not possible to change. Isn't this ridiculous? How could payment be accepted if it couldn't be done? And could the customer helpline people be giving us all this false information? Now we want to speak escalate this and we are yet met with the "we will get back to you in 24 hours response" even after sharing that our flight is in about 36 hours. Utterly unprofessional and ridiculous. To add on everytime we call back to escalate issues the customer "helpline" says they will get back to us within 24 hours. Ofcourse, nobody has ever gotten back to us. What kind of service is this? Just awhile ago Simram told us she has reached out to a manager and someone will be in contact with us as soon as we hung up. Afterwhich, we waited another 25 minutes and nobody called us. Another instance of being fed lies. So we had to waste our time and call in again and explain the whole situation for at least the 8th time. This time, aditya, a male customer service personnel picked up. This was an unprofessional experience for 2 Main reasons. 1. He constantly spoke over us and completely lacked professionalism and a sense of urgency. We repeatedly reminded him it was already midnight at our time and he told us to wait for the next few hours, even though someone previously said they'll be calling us in the next 10 minutes 2. He gave us false information. He told us he has given our information to "the supervisor" to call us back "as soon as possible". However when I asked who this supervisor was he was unable to respond. After trying to beat about the bush a few times he changed his stance and said there was actually no identified supervisor. Only the next available one will be contacting us. What does this mean? Extremely disappointed. first I thought I was booking directly with the airline. then after when the booking was complete I realized it was through an agency. a week after my booking I contacted the flight network to find out how much penalty do I have to pay if I decide to cancel or postpone my flight , after 1 1/2 hour of waiting on the phone, the representative came on and I asked my question about canceling or postponing my ticket, she puts me on hold and comes back and tells me I can go ahead and cancel my ticket for a refund of 2340 just like that I thought she meant $2,340 with a $88 service charge to process the refund, thought that I am getting a full refund. So I said yes please cancel my ticket and issue the refund. All done. When I get a email confirmation, I saw its only for a $23.40 refund. I misled me by not throughly explaining my options. When I called to reschedule my flight I was told they couldn't help me and I would have to contact the airline directly (this was after being on hold for some time). I then contacted the airline directly and was informed they couldn't make any changes on their end because Gotogate didn't book the ticket as a "flexible" ticket (even though I paid for a flexible ticket and had written confirmation that verified this). The airline then told me I would have to call Gotogate directly to have them take responsibility for this error and to change my flight. I then called Gotogate back and explained what I was told and they finally told me they could help me, but they had a very minimal flight selection and only had flights that would be significantly more expensive than my original flight. In addition to that I was informed my ticket would expire within one (1) year from the original booking date. So, due to the limited flight options, I was unable to reschedule my flight and lost out on about $800. I will never book with them again! read more

Booked a flight with gotogate and had multiple problems: 1. Purchased travel insurance via the gotogate platform, but they didn't give me the insurance number. Contacted their support team and the lady in the other side was the least helpful possible, even sounded like she was doing me a favor. Not to mention she gave me the wrong email to contact the insurance company. 2. On the way back had a connection flight with easyjet and had to purchase extra hand lugage. Now, because gotogate books flights in a stupid way, they assign the easyjet reservation with an email I don't have access to (diogo.raposo1(at)booktripairlines.com) nor can I use to login to easyjet. Now I need the invoice for that luggage that was sent to the above email. Contacted their support and once more they couldn't have been of least help, refusing to listen to my explanation.
