Happy that I have a specific shop to have my clothes repaired. The little Dutch lady with the needle and thread did an excellent job of repairing my items. The heel for one of them came out and this place came up as the closest cobbler to my house, so that's how I ended up coming to this shop. Hakan (the cobbler) is just a totally great bloke - very friendly! I initially only bought into the shop the boot with the broken heel, but Hakan explained that he needed both to make sure what he put on the sole of the boot wouldn't be uneven with my other boot and so I dropped off the second pair one morning before work. You have to give him your cell phone nos and that functions also as your ticket number. He texted me when my boots were ready for pick-up and his cost was most reasonable. I found "The Fixables" on Yelp and walked in the door without calling, with no appointment. I was greeted warmly, and when I told them I needed the glass replaced, I was surprised to find out that they had the equipment on hand and that their technician could repair it within the hour. While I waited, I was served a nice Americano and made myself comfortable in their nice waiting room. Within 30 minutes, the glass was replaced and I was on my way. The cost met the estimated I was provided at the beginning and I even got a free screen protector. I would highly recommend The Fixables. Friendly, efficient and fair.
