Every year I look forward to going to the Gourmet Blends booth at the Beverly Glen Fair. This year I was in charge of organizing the vendors, so I knew how important it was to have them there again. This year their selection and staff was just what I would expected from them, nothing but excellence! Their Balsamic Vinegars are so thick and tasty. I always have a hard time deciding what to choose. Thankfully they are very good about letting you try different ones and inquiring about your tastes. They are great at offering suggestions for pairings and suggesting different recipe ideas you may not have thought of before. Their staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. Crystal is awesome! I suggest their Vanilla Fig Balsamic Vinegar, Black currant Balsamic Vinegar, and Dark Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar (although honestly I haven't tried one yet that I didn't find very tasty). Truly the Best Balsamic EVER! If you happen to come across this business, I highly recommend allowing your self to indulge in a tasting and bringing a few bottles home. You will instantly be hooked! If you happen to be looking for a great business to bring in to your Farmer's Market, Fair, or Handmade/Art Crafts event I recommend Gourmet Blends. They are very easy to work with; great at keeping up with communication, professional, and friendly.

Balsamic and oils are so good! I wish I could buy locally or have shipped for low cost. I won't use any other balsamic now.

Yummy Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte!!…read more I got two Matcha Lattes and one Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte. The Matcha Lattes had a beautiful top with the half matcha powder which I thought was nice looking. The drink itself was a good, it wasn't too bitter and too sweet. It was right in the middle, and I thought it was so good! The Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte was so good! It's hard to find a Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte unless you go to Westminster / Garden Grove so I was super excited to find it in Torrance. The drink was great, the Crème Brûlée on top added a creamy cheesy taste to the matcha latte, and it was good! The matcha latte still holds that not too bitter or too sweet ratio which was great as well! The place was pretty hard to find, you can't find it on regular Apple Maps. I was only able to find it through someone who had already been there. The place is near one of the entrances / exits, and it's near the escalators and elevators. The place is also very easy to miss, it blends in with the walls and everything. There's seating and tables next to the place which is nice. There's also a self ordering kiosk on the counter. The employee was helpful and nice! He gave us the drinks without the lids, and he directed us to where the lids, straws, and napkins were. I would come here again! The Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte was great, and I want to try more drinks on the menu!

I was contemplating to choose because everything looks good but ended up getting crème brulee matcha. The drink was good, and I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. I forgot to take a photo on top of the drink to show how it looks like Anyhow, the staff said that their popular drink is the strawberry matcha but too late for me because i remembered to ask after ordering my drink Worth checking out if you're in the area

Apparently the theme of the evening was snacking while waiting for dinner. While killing time…read morebefore our table at Momo Paradise, we wandered into this charming little shop devoted almost entirely to chestnuts. One thing was immediately clear: everyone was ordering the snowstorm. Most people seemed to go with either the matcha or the original, though they also had other flavors like sesame. Naturally we followed the crowd and ordered the matcha. It's matcha soft serve topped with chestnuts, and it turned out to be a great little pre-dinner snack -- creamy, earthy, and not overly sweet. What surprised me most was that they carry different types of chestnuts. I preferred the smaller ones, which were softer, more moist, and sweeter. The larger ones were firmer, but you can buy them already peeled, which honestly feels like a luxury if you've ever battled chestnut shells before. It's a quirky specialty shop, but a fun one to browse. And judging by the number of snowstorms coming out of the kitchen, that's clearly the move here.

I've been wanting to check this place out for some time now…read more I always see it passing down the street and finally got the chance last weekend. Hisaya Kyoto specializes in all things chestnuts, including soft serve chestnuts, and chestnut baked goodies. I came on a hot day and got their vanilla and chestnut soft serve on a cone. I also got one of their chestnut cakes. The ice cream was very creamy and definitely a good treat after my lunch. The small cake was not too sweet and light. It had some sweetened chestnuts inside which was really nice. It came out hot and went well with the ice cream. They also have cookies, donuts, and a variety of ice creams as well. They also have drinks like their chestnut milk too. For soft serve they have their fuji soft serves which comes with toppings. I want to come back to try their other items. The people behind the counter wasn't the friendliest and out items took awhile. The inside is small and casual and not really anywhere to sit. But they do have seating outside. There is plenty of parking since it is on a strip mall.
