The restaurant was empty at this point. They were unfriendly and told us to come back at 7pm. We came back at 7pm but they told us that we misunderstood and that they were unable to sit us at all. Again, the restaurant was empty. The staff was extremely rude. They laughed and made fun of one of our party members' German language skills. They did not seem like they wanted our business so we went elsewhere.

Given the size of our fairly hefty party of 11 people, we were willing to be flexible (the place was pretty cramped). However, after have been promised to be seated, we were rejected due to a "misunderstanding". This "misunderstanding" would have much more levity if they were willing to be respectful of the language barrier, but instead they mocked my German skills along with our overall disappointment. The worst part? Our friend was celebrating her 20th birthday!! I'm generally open to coming to places again after they've let me down, but this particular sushi spot won't deserve me or my friends' attention for awhile.
