I just got another 6 weeks of therapy prescribed by my doctor and I am so glad I get to continue going, since I know I need it. They are excellent therapists besides just being good and friendly people. Every one of the other patients I have met there love it there. The banter between patients and patients with therapists is lively and it keeps you laughing and in a good mood even when the exercises are tough! I cannot stress that part enough, even though it may sound silly. But nothing helps more when it is tough than being able to laugh through it! They care about you from all angles. As a matter of fact I found out they let their patients continue to use the facility after their therapy ends. You may not have them walking you through each step of the way but will still suggest additional exercises and techniques, all for a very small fee. I will most likely keep going there to make sure I am remaining strong and mobile after therapy ends. I had a workplace accident that literally ended up in multiple breaks where one bone had to be rebuilt in part, as well as nearly every muscle in my leg being damaged in some way, so it has been a very long haul for me with surgeries, therapy hospitals, in home therapy and now the out patient therapy. I most likely will be there for a while and once my muscles are strong enough another surgery and more therapy. I would not think of going to another place as I am sure they will see me through it all and back to having as normal a leg and knee as is possible. Thank you to all of the SERC employees!
