I have worked with Jim Thomas on numerous projects and have been extremely pleased. The biggest…read moreproject was the total gutting and renovation of a 12,000 sq ft building in Athens. Jim was always available at a moments notice to come to the job site and address any problems. Our plans went through approval with the state of Ohio quickly and without issue. I have worked with several other Architects who were not as accessible or timely and I ran into problems with their designs and had to come up with the solutions on my own. There is another review that talks about a poor design for a medical building because the windows are floor to ceiling. I just want to point out that an Architect designs what a client requests and it is up to the client to review the plans and change what does not suit their needs. I can not speak to the other issues encountered and I have never worked with the other two architects in this firm but after reading that negative review I felt compelled to put in a good word for Jim Thomas because I could not have had a better experience.
