When we got there, we were the only people browsing the pumpkins. Someone had made a beautiful backdrop for people to take pictures and our sons had fun running around the grounds. We asked the people there if it was okay to picnic and they said, "Do as you please!". It was nice that they didn't ask if we were members. It seems they welcome everyone. This church is beautiful and it was a wonderful place to spend an hour with pumpkins and picnics. Thank you!

This is a beautiful church with a huge steeple, a neo-gothic attenuated bell tower and spire which can be seen for miles. The church has a lofty interior, which is lit naturally, thanks to all the stained glass windows, which really is rather breathtaking. There are regular services, so be sure to attend! They also have a school, where the kids seem to be happy.

One Sunday, they baptized over 100 people! It's a family friendly place but nothing for singles, especially non-Spanish speaking. I moved to the south side in 2019 after living in an apartment in Stone Oak. I bought a house to be close to Lackland AFB, as a retired veteran. After attending the ladies bible class, I volunteered to teach it, as I was teaching ladies bible class at my previous church. The class lead said she would contact me to discuss and I never was contacted. The ladies class was not interactive either. It felt like the attendees took everything as gospel that they heard from the lady leading, without question. No questions were asked for understanding. The office staff could be improved, too, as I started attending in 2019 and sent monthly tithes electronically, but still had to ask for the tax statement, except 1 or 2 times. Finally, I didn't get a welcome letter from the pastor until 2 or 3 years later. I enjoyed attending this church but pray that they improve on the areas I mentioned, especially for new comers, singles and non-Spanish speakers. moving to New Braunfels.

They have ongoing, regular events and even invite the neighborhood in to join them! Every October is my favorite event, the Mass on the Grass and Rummage Sale! It's a great time! The church has a little shrine to the Virgin Mary out on the Northwest corner of the property. It's a beautiful old structure that's quite serene and enjoyable. There's even a convent or monastery on site, so I've heard. The services are frequent, just listen for the church bells that announce when the services are! The pews are comfortable, and the clergy is welcoming. It's a nice place to go take a walk around the grounds and contemplate! Amen!

This is a spirit led church. Very friendly, community oriented. I have attended services there…read morethree times. There are a variety of friendly people. They have talented singers and musicians that lead spirit filled worship. Praising & worshipping the Lord, prayer and speaking in tongues are practiced freely but under control. The Pastors are spirit filled and preach & teach the word of God with love, power, gentleness and kindness.
