Located right across from the fairgrounds. The school is two floors with the gym, cafeteria and library all located on the first floor. The school has a pretty big play area for the kids at the back and a track on the side of the school. During elections it becomes the local polling place and hosts a number of events that the local community comes to. After spending 5 years of my life going to school here, I can say it wasn't bad at all in retrospect.

Not only did I work here during a few summers, I also attended this place for pre-school…read more this is such an amazing pre-school with an amazing staff (not being biased). the summer camp program is amazing. the food is amazing. the chefs in the kitchen are friendly and always cook delicious food for the children. this is a family owned day care that has been around forever. the building has cameras on the outside and inside.. along with access cards for the parents to enter the building (for safety). the summer camp program is quite fun and im sure any child would love it. from what i remember... every Monday during the summer the children would go roller skating at a nearby roller rink that was rented out. Then every Tuesday the children would go to a family owned miniature golf place. Wednesdays would be pool day.. spend half the day with the children at the local public outdoor pool. thursdays would be bowling day.. get to go bowling at the local bowl america. fridays would be movie and event day.. movies in the morning.. and events in the afternoon (fair, petting zoo, circus, magic show, etc.). definitely send your child there if you live in the area! sure beats those other summer camp programs!

I haven't met a person that wasn't smiling or enthusiastic with the kids yet. The teachers get children up to speed without stressing you or the child out about it. My son talks about all of the interesting things that he is learning and leaves with the biggest smile each day. I can tell that he is happy here (and he used to be a clinger at drop-off!)

It seems like the teachers know all of the kids in the school, not just their own class. They do a wonderful job making each child feel comfortable and secure, but still appropriately challenged. One of our twins has high functioning autism, and since he started at MBP last summer (for camp), and we've seen him make incredible strides. We were terrified about how his separation anxiety would play out, but by the end of the first week of preschool camp, there were no tears. By the end of the second week, he was running ahead of me to his classroom! I know my kids are well-loved, nurtured and in great hands. These kids are really, genuinely excited to go to school. When we drive by on an off-day, they wave and say "bye preschool - see you tomorrow!". Thanks for all you guys do!

We also do summer camp/spring break every year. Classroom sizes are small, kids feel loved, and have wonderful experiences daily. Never a concern. Trust is huge for me; they have it. Communication is abundant. Workers do not seem to be there for a check, but truly show investment in the kids. We get daily updates at pick up and phone calls when it is necessary. I credit these folks for shaping my little monsters--particularly Ms. Debra for potty training. Ms. Carol for drop off stress management, and Ms. Ana for lots of hugs and barrette management. Ms. Itzel for FUN FUN FUN! My children are not easy--one is a diva and the other is all questions right now. They have friends who hug and giggle. The really neat thing about this school is how they foster individual development and learning but pull in relationship building. They are a community created. Nothing but positive. The vibe is fantastic. LOVE the director as you can see her model the behaviors she wants of her team. So, tuition is competitive but there are extras with that tuition that other facilities do not have. Worth it. our 4 year old writes his name and a few words, knew his alphabet at under 2 years, and is now able to count on his own to 50. Our diva is right on track with him as well. The projects that come home for special days are beautiful and so smart. And now, Montessori learning is being introduced!!! We learned about this school from our neighbor. Just do a tour! And I forgot about precious status app. I get cool notifications throughout the day of my monsters--how did they eat, eliminate, and pics of the neatest activities. Yesterday was a Dr. Seus day! Lovely pics of the kids. PEACE OF MIND with a 10 hour work day. Open at 6 and close at 7!!! This helps with a commute to Maryland and Alexandria. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!

Saw that my friends son had a IEP and a label of aspergers. Failed to see that he was doing…read morefantastic at the elementary school he was attending prior and on honor role there and that he was nominated to do GT next year. Instead they were more concerned that he had aspergers and did not want him in their school. Treated him like he was stupid. When in fact he already knew and had learned what they were teaching in 5th grade. Forced him to attend Pace West instead of there. The child never belong in Pace West. Teacher & Prinicipal would not listen to the teachers and special education teachers from his prior school and take their advice and suggestions for working with my friends son. A educator from his proir school said she was even hung up on by a teacher at Loch Lomond and that she felt that they did not care about my friends son or his education they just saw his label.

Never in my life have I seen a school district run the busses that stop at every neighboring house…read moreas they do here. Don't even try getting behind 905 on Yorkshire. Instead of having a couple stops, they use our taxes to have luxury pickup at each house. Inappropriate use of money.
