All about that money. The school- My daughter went there K-8, she's a self starter, an "A" student - but even she hated the teachers there. They do not care about the students truly. My younger son, he needed help- there is NO HELP if your child doesn't keep up on their own. They kept pushing my son through year after year when he didn't know anything- he was clueless. He felt dumb, he knew he didn't know anything going on. Their "resource" for him- a no show most of the time or no help. This school/church/cottage is made up of people working there who are friends of friends or family. I've seen how good small schools work, how the kids feel, this school could have been a thriving place for kids. They DO NOT care about your child here- and the level of education, with the exception of the 8th grade curriculum is SUBPAR to PUBLIC SCHOOL. Many, many families leave this school/church/cottage/whatever. I had to take my son away from the friends he'd had since kindergarten to home school him. He's years behind. read more

I used to attend this church and must add that the pastor is prejudice. Thank God I found a new church in my area that accepts me for who and what I am. LGBT+ church is my new family without forced conversion. They love me for ME. Jesus taught us to love others unconditionally, he never mentioned anything about eternal conscious punishment. Why? The 1 star reviews I see here are from those that believe the church should follow the "teachings" of our culture, wherever they may lead. That is not what the Bible or Christianity is. The word of God does not change to fit the current cultural norms or ideals. The word of God is the unchanging rock of our faith. We come to Him, he doesn't come to us. I have attended Grace Community Church a few times, but unfortunately my experience was not great due to the pastor's rude attitude. While the church community seems welcoming enough, the pastor came across as dismissive and unapproachable when I tried to ask questions. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The sermons themselves were fine, but a pastor should be kind and open, which was not the case here. To the pastors and deacons, been going here for awhile and I understand your feeling stressed out. As a former churchgoer, I know it seems as if your behavior is harmless. However, actions like gossiping can foster emotions of mistrust from churchgoers. Please show professionalism when conducting a sermon. There's no need to point the finger. When you joke inappropriately with your churchgoers, it creates a culture of fear and negativity. read more

I've been to GCC in Ramona on several occasions and as a churchgoer it's time to break free from the chains. To the Pastor, you did a great job with your tone of voice in the presentation, but the subject matter needs a bit of work. I've been going to GCC in Ramona for 6 years. Just last week I sat through the sermon and I surely did not agree with the pastor's conditional words on LGBT+. Anyway, the deacons kept asking for donations almost every hour. I don't understand why so many times. The church must be desperate for money. I don't think I will be attending for some time. I go to GCC in Ramona, sometimes. I use to go once a week to check out the sermons but I'm not liking how unfriendly the lectures are about LGBT. I have a friend who is transgender and I brought him along to listen to last week's sermon. We felt insulted from the Pastor's jokes. I called the Pastor but got his answering machine. After visiting GCC in Ramona there are limits and rules for Transgender individuals. I support LGBT+ Wholeheartedly and to be turned away by the pastor only makes me stronger and wiser to move on to another church who would be happy to greet me with all due respect. He spoke about Sodom and Gomorrah and compared the story to the LGBT community. During the sermon, a woman from the audience walked out crying. Grace Community Church in Ramona is alright, besides the Deacon throwing some shade about earthly riches. My buddy and I have been popping in on and off for a couple of years. ​ Worst church ever! The sermons are boring and the music is terrible. The facilities are dirty and the service is disorganized. The church leadership is unprofessional and unresponsive. Some of the workers here are disrespectful. They do not comprehend the meaning of love.
