Big giant church where lots of black people like to gather…read more The church is pretty on the inside, it seems like it's mega, but mini. Not too small, but not like a mansion. If you enjoy a pastor that speaks in tongues, a place of worship that actually plays gospel music and not Christian rock, come here! I attended a conference with my mum and the pastor was pretty interesting, he sounded as if he was controlling and panhandling for offerings. It made me think of an early Jim Jones, in a way, but not in a mass killing way, but in control freak way. He says kneel to yalls knees and everybody drops. He says put your hands up for praise, and everybody does it. He says run around the church wild, and everybody does it. He says welcome and hug everybody for at least a minute, and everybody does it. He says give $200, and everybody gives their rent money.. Yeah, hey, but if you like churches like this, that's you! I wasn't too impressed, the service was 4 hours long. Real church pews, the uncomfortable ones that give your back that real pain. However, the parking lot is huge. The ladies restroom had a big black comfy chair that was nice to sit in.

They pretend to be your friends, but when you need help, too bad! The Rabbi will never call you when you are in the hospital sick, nor will he call you back when you are in need. If you lose a loved one, who cares?!!! He threw out several congregants and made them start their own shul because he couldn't make peace in this temple. The name of this new synagague is Ahavat Yisroel. It is now located in the Siegal's backyard, since one man, not mentioning names, who controls (or thinks he does) the neighborhood, will not let them purchase a property to build a proper synagague. Recently, an out of town speaker was brought to the synagogue to address the hatred issues in this Jewish community. I just want to let people know what type of politics they will be dealing with when they move here. I moved here a few years ago and am sorry I did!
