What a nightmare!…read more I'm typically not a review writer, however, when lives are risk of deception, potential health risks, loss of money and time, and additional strife, I feel compelled to share my story. It's been a nightmare, a ridiculous unprofessional, dishonest, unethical, and disruptive experience. There are not enough words to express the dissatisfaction as well as the risks Super Steamer had positioned. My experience is specific to water restoration. Super steamer failed to follow procedures of proper water restoration/ mitigation and in turn put myself as well as my neighbors at health risks. Their lack of preparation, qualifications and proper procedures has created a list of consequences which are means of a lawsuit. They left the job unfinished - no call, no check in, no show-- GHOSTED the job. While on the job they damaged my contents- piling contaminated contents on top of furniture further damage to contents. They piled and mix infected wet content with untouched contents in my bathtub. They failed to cover my contents before blowing 18 fans on floor that was full of remenents and water puddles. They left vanities with mold in the home. They left wet walls in tact that are now covered in mold. They tore out part of a wet ceiling without covering cabinets. It was a mess to say the least. We are now 3.5 weeks into mitigation which is typically a 4 day in and done process, still incomplete and mold has accumulated in the walls. Their lack qualifications, professionalisms, care and honesty on the job has created a situation that in which my neighbors in the complex (condos) will be inconvenienced with having to knock out walls. The neighbors now have to worry about potential health concerns despite the risk rate. Super Steamer will promise that they are qualified professionals and can complete a thorough and timely job, yet they lack employees. They are not equipped with a qualified crew. The list of disappointment by myself, my neighbors, insurance company as well as water restoration professionals is endless. The owner has dropped the ball with investing himself in his company- from the simple basics of proper lawful services contracted to the heart of what the job entails. I have had A representative of Super Steamer confess that the owner stated he would take the job, being qualified/lacking experience so he could nail a contract to complete the flooring. What a disgrace. This review isn't meant to be malicious. I decide to share my story to create awareness of the dangers of hiring Super Steamer. I would NOT RECOMMEND Super steamer. The company is unethical, deceitful in an effort of financial gain; full of broken promises in hopes they can slide under the radar; unprofessional- numerous no calls/ no shows. I hope to save others from health risks, loss of money and time, enhanced stress, and being deceived. It's been a nightmare of experience with Super Steamer. Please be cautious. We hired this company for a 2nd story addition and my opinion is they were negligent in their…read morebuilding practices and then became very unprofessional. 2/3rds into tearing our roof off they dishonestly price gouged and charged us an additional $21,000 for something. It's so egregious that we will report it! After the roof was removed they caused the loss of our entire home below the addition by not properly protecting it. After the massive $100,000+ loss they got the new 2nd story up and dried in but continued to ignore our request to repair water leaks getting into the home. We contacted them on at least 6 occasions about the leaks and it was not repaired and is still not repaired. After almost 2 months we still have ongoing leaks. Unfortunately I had to contact the city and have them intervene and force the builder to fix things that they would not even reply to. They also built things in the wrong spot and ignored our selections. They installed the wrong window and tried to leave it that way and then when they finally fixed it they installed the wrong size in the wrong spot. It didn't even match the agreed elevation plan. When it was brought to their attention yet again that they made a mistake we were told they would only correct it if we paid them $2400! Unfortunately I had to go buy the correct window at my expense. I had remove and install it correctly myself. Then they stole my old window and all my left over material I paid for on my house project. They are still currently working on our home but will not be doing any further work for the next phase. If you are considering hiring this company contact me and I'll be happy to share with you in detail what's happened and our experience. My experience is they will sell you on their work and contract and then after they start they will tell you they came across a problem and they will need to write up a change order. They will take liberties by choosing selections you didn't approve. In our case they installed windows and a front door without even asking or disclosing they were doing it. How can you just pick a persons front door without even asking? I had to go buy another door and install it myself at my expense ! They also damaged over $1000 of our personal property that was no where near the work area and refuse to replace it. Buyer beware because for us these change orders are excessive in price compared to the industry standard and they don't seem to care if they damage your personal property! Our feeling and experience is also that they will try very hard to not reply to text or emails and will instead want only verbal communication. Verbal communication is great but even with that they make error after error. My opinion is they only want verbal because if it's in writing they can't get out of it but if it's only verbal there is no record of their conversations with us. After what I saw as an incompetent act by not protecting our home I began to document everything with them and I was asking for official written replies to emails and text. They then called me and asked why I was insisting on having everything in writing and wanting email replies. I told them so it's documented incase they try to do us wrong. After that we would get very little in written responses and have been largely ignored. . I come from a family of builders and have a decent amount of knowledge on how things are supposed to be built. If I didn't have that knowledge my option is we would have an addition that was not well built and would cause us a lot of issues in the future including structural. If you do not have building knowledge my opinion is to stay far away from this company. Even if you do I would not recommend them. Also if you meet them you might get the impression that TJ does actual construction work on the jobs. For our project our experience is the son TJ only does the business end of the company's business. The father Tim is the builder and his son just puts in change orders and draw request. We have not seen TJ one time since the day we signed the contract. It's my understanding that Tim Sr is not a licensed builder!

They were there every day until the job was complete... unlike other contractors we've experienced (i.e., those that take a job and you only see them once a week at most). And they thoroughly cleaned everything when the job was complete. We could tell that they want you to enjoy the experience of working with them and ultimately enjoy the finished product.
