My brother, cousin, and I would play on the steps at age 7-8-10, and run home to my grandmothers for something to eat. In the early 50's the neighborhood was a safe playground protected by Italian men who lived in the neighborhood. An ideal place to have spent my early days as a kid.. If visiting over the weekend, we would walk on Sundays to attend mass, then home for breakfast. Perhaps, someday, I could return for another Sunday Mass.

Our children are connected to their peers through the Kidz Quest program as well as the Teen Youth Group. My quiet teenager has come out of his shell and made friends with other teens and socializes with his peers because of the encouragement of his youth leaders. My husband and I enjoy the monthly classes. They have inspired us to dig deeper in the Bible, and improve our prayer life. The Pastors are enjoyable to listen and interact with. The sermons are Biblically based and practical and help normal people deal with normal every day situations. The Worship Band is my favorite part. The musicians are inspiring and bring the songs to life.
