Both kids were wholly engaged in the curriculum and supported in all aspects of their development while building beautiful, meaningful relationships with the other students, parents, teachers and the two amazing directors. They loved being outdoors, having loads of field trips, learning art, music and theatre in addition to reading, math, history, civics and science. Dever's student population hits a great balance that is rarely found in public schools - one that is highly beneficial for any parents who want their kids to learn in a diverse environment. If you live in the attendance zone for Dever and are debating whether to send your children to private school or enter the charter or magnet lottery, I would highly encourage you to first consider this neighborhood school. Before and after care are offered and private music lessons. The teacher to student ratio is perfect. No chance my daughter will slip through the cracks.
