We found A Place for Children after checking out all the larger daycare centers, and and it was a relief to find a quality option for daycare that didn't have a year-plus waiting list. Laura personally goes out to each family to see what they're specifically looking for as far as the needs, qualifications, and the wants of the family. Following that, she interviews highly experienced nanny applicants to fill the position. Basically she is the middle woman between the family and the nannies. The nannies must have an extensive resume for child care plus a background/criminal record check to make sure the nannies are legit. The family has no obiligation to keeping the nanny that is placed with them if the family does not feel the nanny fits the criteria of what they're looking for. Until placement has been made, and everyone on both sides are happy (both family and nanny), the family does not have to pay a placement fee. It's a lot cheaper than TLC as well. TLC has several hands in the game, and honestly I find it that if you have too many people involved, it loses its personal touch. I highly recommend checking out Olive U Nanny if you're serious about finding a nanny.

If it's under five hours I believe it's $18 but don't quote me on that. Ms. Grace and Ms. Mindy are great with the preschool kids! Each day my child comes home with a report on how his day went and what they learned and did that day. They send art work and school papers home as well, which is something our old preschool usually didn't bother to send. Depending on what time your child is here, breakfast, lunch and a snack is provided. The building is clean and colorful. Both the rooms and the playground are set up according to age group. No chance for the big kids to fall on the babies! I highly recommend this place. If wasn't for kindergarten this fall I would bring my child here again!

I stated I was concerned that my childs mother who is unfortunately facing prison time and that her boyfriend who had abused my childs mother was abusing him as well. I had simply asked to be vigilant of my sons interactions and to watch for any decline . However , what she did next was blantant and hurtful to my sons parents interactions and dangerous to my sons welfare . Ashley via text message Provided to me by my childs mother, sent my concerns to her further endangering my son and causing mental anguish to all parties. Its my belief as a daycare , they should not incite, or contribute or take sides to any dispute parents may have or impede any ongoing investigation... This is a major concern and I cant recommend .

Open communication, daily reports and photos, and a warm inclusive environment were all key factors that allowed us to establish trust quickly. Their approach to learning is fun, structured, and wide reaching. They are extremely proactive about fostering independence and recognized (before us) when Leo was ready for potty training, putting shoes on by himself, etc. Dave and Fei have not only provided exceptional childcare and education, but created community of great people to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and everything else with. I couldn't be more thankful!
