He ruined my finger and according to another tattoo artist, he also caused the area to scar, so I have scar tissue there now. I will eventually have to fix it but need to wait until I'm back in California to have a PROFESSIONAL do it. I also had a different artist tattoo a hibiscus flower on my arm and I asked for no black ink, just red ink... Well, that one had to be redone also because it looked like a candy cane, despite showing him a photo of what I wanted (not a candy cane) at least the re-do on that one was halfway decent but still needs work. The atmosphere in the shop is very chill and open. My tattoo went on smoothly, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. Along with the tattoo sale was the piercing sale. The demand was steady, but, for obvious reasons, the line moved faster. Customers from both tattoos and piercings left very happy with the results. My only complaint is that my instructions for caring for my tattoo were hastily given to me verbally.  The piercing part of the business has instructions handed to the client.  A half sheet of instructions could be offered to tattoo clients.
