We had big plans to purge lots of stuff, but just days after the dumpster was dropped off, a family emergency struck. This took me across the country unexpectedly for several days. Even when I got home in the aftermath of this crisis, I was in no shape to be sorting and chucking stuff away. I got in touch with Angela Flynn, owner of Green Team and explained my situation. I was hoping for a short extension that I would have to pay for. That is not what happened. Angela listened to my saga. She was so kind and understanding. She told me to keep the dumpster for as long as we needed it at the original charge! Who does that nowadays? I'm so grateful to Angela and The Green Team for their compassion and generosity at a time when you don't see these things very often. We did get so much of our unwanted stuff cleared out. We had our dumpster delivered sooner than we thought we would be able to, and we appreciate the way they accept payment (when the dumpster is in your possession). However, it was odd to not receive a confirmation email, electronic receipt, text or phone call to check in between the time I ordered it and the drop off. I had to call back and make sure it was set to be delivered the following morning, and had to confirm a time. They do give a window for the dumpster drop off, but it arrived right at the beginning. Best part- you don't have to be there when they come to pick it up as long as you've followed their guidelines!
