I don't recall ever having to return anything because it was defective, or of poor quality. Unlike product from "blue oval", stuff from Mark's lasts a long time. Because of the pandemic, I thought I would have a very difficult time doing an exchange at the store. I was greeted by a very friendly staff upon entry and was so refreshing to deal with Neisha. Neisha was the most pleasant person and say easy going. In most cases, returning or exchange and any other store is not always dealt in a positive manner. Not the case at Journeys. I will be going back for my next purchase, they have a great selection of merchandise but mostly because of my experience. Neisha deserves a raise.

The prices were good but discounts eg: 40% off weren't marked on the items so you had no idea what the actual price was unless you calculated it yourself, there were a lot of sales but the price tags were very small and hard to find on the items and pair this with the non existent staff, the discounts not marked on the price tags and you're basically lost as far as how much you're spending.

If I were to pick a favourite, it would be GAP. I am pleased that I continue to be able to fit into clothes offered at this store. Over a decade ago, a women's size 16 was the largest size and I couldn't fit into it. I'm happy that I no longer have that issue. Either I had to shrink or the sizes needed to grow. It's funny, but both happened! I walked into this GAP outlet store on a Sunday afternoon and loved the Canada Day sales happening. I managed to get a pair of lounge shorts for $10, which was 60% off. I have three pairs of them already. They are extremely comfortable that I got another pair. I also got a super soft t-shirt. I visited the fitting room where a young man with a British accent helped me get a room to try my two items on. He was great. He took good care of every person wanting to try items on and would fetch different sizes for those who needed them. Staff here are friendly. I was searching for the t-shirt that I needed and eventually found it after rummaging through practically the entire pile of t-shirts. A woman came over and asked if she could help. I was done, but appreciated the gesture. I went to pay for my items. The woman cashing me out said that I could get an extra 10% off with an e-mail that I would have received. I retrieved it, but it didn't look like a coupon with a barcode. She looked at it, said that it was good, and I got my discount. Nice! Recently, a friend had the impression that I like shopping at malls. I don't mind browsing or hanging out at malls, but I tend to shop at outlets more. GAP is a good example. Some clearance areas make the high prices more reasonable but that means you are likely buying spring things from last season in present winter time. They have a lot of cool things at check out. Things for dogs too! I've only been in here x 2 now but I'm going to need it more and more and the Kanata location is very convenient. It's fun to even just come to look around in here. Lots of gift ideas for an active friend!

My husband likes it there, so we poke our noses into the shop once in a while. Maybe I just don't like their women's clothing? One thing I do not like here is that the racks are so close together that only one person can fit in there at a time. Oh well! So shop early on the day, I guess, to avoid any crowds.
