I took the trolley yesterday. The longest I had to wait between trolleys was 10 minutes. It is more expensive with the longer route and longer hours. $1 per each ride and they are cash only and don't take change. So, if you have any stops in between, make sure you have enough singles for each time you get back on.

Its cheaper to pay cash but you can buy fare tickets on the JTA app also. Always allow extra time! JTA is pretty good about being on time but life happens. I wish the Skyway extended further to Brooklyn and ran on the weekends. There typically is a few route options to get you to your destination. Inside the JTA HQ is a Conitti's coffee shop. A great place with seats and wifi if you have a layover in your commute. Bring a jacket for the bus it's typically pretty cold

The beaches shuttle system is scheduled to run May 3 through Sept. 6 on Friday nights 7pm to 2am, Saturdays noon to 2am and Sundays are noon to 6pm. The trolleys will operate longer hours on Sunday, July Fourth, running from noon to 2 a.m., and Monday, Sept. 6, for Labor Day, running from noon to 6 p.m. The trolleys will continue to go back and forth from South Beach Regional Shopping Center in South Jacksonville Beach to Atlantic Village Shopping Center in Atlantic Beach. But only on 3rd Street. They will avoid First Street, which is narrow and peppered with pedestrians, which slows the operation. The return time at any given trolley stop is about 20 minutes and I don't think that's too bad of wait or price given the dangerousness of drinking and driving and what that could cost you! I was calling someone in Massachusetts after the lay over, and the bus was pulling out when a Greyhound Employee forced me off the bus for being on my cell phone! I was left stranded outside the bus station, which was closing, without a ticket refund of the trip Miami, FL.- to- Worcester, MA. I was left stranded in Jacksonville, FL. In the middle of the night enroute to Massachusetts for a funeral, and no means to purchase a new ticket- to finish the long distance bus trip! I wasn't even notified the delay until I got there. I didn't get into Tampa until 3:30pm when it was rush hour traffic. The building was filthy. Bathrooms were not the dirtiest but not clean either. It was manageable. The bathrooms on the train was disgusting though. The only reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the prices. It only cost me $19 to get a coach seat. Also beware: wifi didn't work at all on the ride.

My mom was confined to her room for two days becasue she could not get upstairs to the dining car. She could not get ustairs to the observation car. She had to sit in her room the entire time. Meals were the next issue. We were supposed to have three course meals. I never got one. The first meal I was not in the mood for chicken. There was no steak. I can't eat red sauce and I do not like fish so there was only the chicken. I asked for a hot dog off the kids menu. They had no kids menu items which was nuts because there were a bunch of children on board. So I ended up going to the snack car and paid 9 dollars for a microwaved burger. The next mornign there were no quesadillas which of course is what I wanted. Then it started going downhill. Lunch was pizza no choice. Pepperoni or cheese pizza no other choices even though we wre supposed to have a full menu. Again not being able to eat tomato sauces I was back at the snack bar paying for microwaved food when meals were supposed to be included. Dinner was the same situation beef stew or nothing. No choices again. So the food was lousy, the accessibility for anyone with a mobility issue was nonexistent.

I explained what happened to my bus driver and he allowed me to ride anyways. It's the small things that make my day and that really helped. I tend to notice that the men are more friendly to me and the women shy away, I guess it's a self esteem thing. But when you work at a place like this you really must be neutral no matter how you feel about someone.

If I could give 0 stars I would…read more We ordered a ride to pick us up from the Airport in Jacksonville and take us to our home in Ponte Vedra, due to the fact that parking at the Airport is very limited right now. We landed on time and then notified the car that we had arrived. Of note is the fact that there is a specific pick up area on the arrivals section for services like Uber to pick up their fares. Also, we are senior citizens carrying very heavy bags. The pick up line moves quite quickly. My wife was keeping track of our Uber on her phone. She was notified that the car, a Volkswagen Taos, would arrive in 9 minutes. At about the 15 minute mark, her phone showed that the car was 650 feet away. We waited and waited but no car. Then, my wife texted the driver to find out where she was. She was sitting in the waiting line way, way back from the pick up area. She then told us to walk back and find her in the line. My wife said that we were absolutely NOT going to walk back and find her. We were standing in the correct pick up area. It was her job to drive down and pick us up. We stood there patiently, and finally this white Taos came down to where we were, rolled down the back window and started to scream my wife's name, never even got out of her car to get our suitcases. My wife , hearing and seeing this ridiculous behavior, walked over and told her to forget it. In addition to being nasty, this woman had a magnetic sign on the side of the car, and when my wife asked her what it was, she said"that's my business." The name of the business was Hygiene Anonymous. We don't know what she was doing. Was she picking us up in between jobs? And what does that business have to do with Uber? We ended up getting a different service to take us home, ZTrip which was more expensive, but was sitting there and we both agreed that the driver was careful and very friendly. This is not to say we will not ever use Uber again, but this was a very bad experience.

The actual ride is only ~5 minutes, with 15 minutes between each trip to accommodate time to load and unload the ferry. The only downside for me is if the wait is crowded and I can't tell if I will make the ferry or have to wait for the next one, but it's a beautiful spot to be stuck in.

This fee can be WAIVED if the booking is made over the phone or in person. No one at this company facilitates bookings over the phone, forcing the consumer to utilize this predatory booking software that makes all of their money through fees charged to the customer. This company doesn't pay a dime to use Fare Harbor. The booking software is free to them, and the customer pays for it through the fees. Many other alternatives do not make money this way: Bookeo, Resova, Checkfront, etc. This company doesn't have to use predatory software like fare harbor. They could pay for their software instead of forcing customers to pay for it. I have used this taxi service before for a sunset cruise. The staff is very friendly, and the boat ride is lovely. I wish they would change to a different software OR take reservations over the phone so customers wouldn't be forced to pay for their office supplies
