The workers were very nice and facility was very clean. I enjoyed the fact that my 10 year old could also race his own car. The track is fairly large in a figure 8 Style. I know go karts in the Ozarks the go-kart tracks aren't as cool as the ones in Branson..but if your going to go to one THIS IS THE ONE I would say it is the better track. They also have other options like mini golf and arcade so it appeals to More people. read more

Gran Rally Karts - Who's the winner!? - Go Karts Near Me - Osage Beach, Missouri

Beware...we took 6 high schools boys to drive go karts here. 1 of the 6 cars acted like a governor was on it. Only made 1 lap to the others 2. When we asked for a refund they told us they could not guarantee the speed of any of their cars and because we purchased their advertised special of a combo go kart putt putt ticket (which cost more) they would not refund the money. If we had only purchased the go kart ride they would have refunded it but "they didn't want to mess up their accounting." Made absolutely no sense other then poor business sense and bad customer service. If you visit here be sure to watch what cars are doing in the groups before you so you don't get stuck with a dud car. read more

We are on vacation for fall break and are thinking about doing something fun, but in Ozark apparently the mini golf courses are all closed because of the occasion, so we decide to go drive some golf karts and have some fun! Honestly I was disappointed, we got to our go karts and they look pretty old, the paint was chipped and weathering away on all the karts and they were extremely low seated and dusty. The track looks okay, having a few turns and a hill. So I give the overall appearance 4 stars. Now the experience. When we got there a group of people ahead of us were finishing their race, and once they were done we were able to ride. I was excited and ready to beat my whole family in a race. As the race begins I swiftly get into first place and make it all the way to the hill until trouble hits. The kart I was in was an orange kart and was just used by the people that were in-front of us, which leads me to believe why this happened. I make it all the way to the hill and then my kart stops, im helplessly stuck on a hill flooring the gas so I don't fall back as I await for the employee to come to my rescue. He pushed me up the hill and I was able to continue racing until I made it to the hill again, and once again I was stuck on the hill AGAIN, this time when he pushes me up the kart begins to slow down, and before I can even go down the hill my kart stops again but this time it will not move. I look back towards the employee and he eventually drives a kart out to my helpless self so I can continue racing. Although this time, I was able to make it back up the hill. I don't blame the people here for what happened, because I believe that the person that drove it before me had flooded the engine and is the reason why I had been unable to move, the prices aren't bad and the people are friendly but I unfortunately didn't get the experience I was looking for. Still I don't blame the employees as they were just trying to help me. 4 stars read more

My family (that seemed that day to consist of only girls - wife, daughter, sister & mother) went to Putt'N'Stuff next door (which seems to share an oddly shaped parking lot that must have been an after thought) and then decided to patronize Gran Rally. We were already there and we'd have to drive past it anyway, why not? Upon arrival we all had to fight our way in, because the entrance and exit are shared (something the people exiting couldn't seem to do). Once inside I felt a strange mix of TRON (vintage video games) and Days of Thunder. This excited me. Everyone likes to drive fast & pretend they are a race car driver. Here we got to do both with relative safety and adequate supervision. The go carts (as with any place with a similar purpose) spewed the smell of petroleum; which I am less concerned about for me than I am for my 9 year old. They could be easily made to run on ethanol, saving employee's & customer's health, as well as $ at the tank. The wait time to ride was relatively short. I imagine that means the ride was shorter than I thought while driving. Seemed that each lap was about 90-120 seconds and you run around 5/6 of those. You don't get to choose any cart, yet any cart within reason, depending on how many racers there are. The track has single and dual riders (for those with small children). There is an employee at the gate (before you sit in your cart) that explains how the track works. I didn't really pay attention - most people probably don't. Different colour lights mean things... All you need to know is that there will be a horn at the end and they will move a gate out that corals you into "the pit." I had fun, but most importantly, my girls had fun - that means the most to me. Is this review based on 1 visit? Yes Will I come back? No Should you go here? No Lasting Impression - Racing in the go carts was fun. It is not worth the environmental impact for me to go again, even when visiting the lake next time. I can roll down the windows while my father is driving to get the same thrill. read more

I went to Gran Rally with a group of guys. The employees were super friendly. The price per person was very reasonable. The karts were fast and the track was smooth. The employees were incredibly speedy to fix spin outs. We had an all around great time. read more

Took the family here for some fun but left bummed. Karts were pretty junky, and speed was very limited, track was ok, and the time on the track seemed very short. Kids wanted to go another round, but we decided to load back in the car and try Lemans down the street. Glad I did, way faster karts, better track and way longer time on the track. The only positive is that it is $2 cheaper than Lemans, but you get what you pay for. Will not be back. read more

Go karts were a decent speed and the corners were delightfully tight. Also workers were really laid back.

We drove 20 minutes to go go kart racing on a Thursday night and the website said that they were open from 9:00am -10:00pm or later everyday of the week. We show up and no one is there and the track is pitch black. 4 disappointed kids. read more

Great karts and the best track in the area, but the price is just too darn steep, particularly if you have a group. Some kind of discounts would be good for buying tickets on-line or something. Only deal now is $1 off coupon, which isn't nothing but still, the cost is just too high. read more
