Aqua Toys is fabulous. I am so sad we didn't know about this family-owned biz our last trip down to the lake. I scoured the interwebz to find the boat of our dreams (at a particular price point) and Aqua Toys was just what the doctor ordered. $225 for four hours was a steal! Plus, $20 for the aqua stack pad was well worth it. We called in advance to set up a four hour rental on a ten-person pontoon. We arrived about thirty minutes early, our (newbie) driver got the rundown and felt pretty prepared. (Pro tip, take pictures of the forms you sign with basic boat driving etiquette-- to reference later.) The staff was insanely helpful and friendly-- even giving us a quiet cove recommendation that really delivered! The boat was clean. Bluetooth radio was great. The aqua pad was a huge hit with the adults and kiddos. 10/10 would recommend and will be renting again with them next summer. It is no wonder Aqua Toys has been around for darn near 30 years-- they make renting a boat affordable, easy and fun! read more

Renting a pontoon was easy and affordable. We did two half days, which was perfect for us. Staff were super friendly and very helpful getting us loaded and set up on the boat. We rented a 24' Pontoon boat for a day trip and tubing (and we were all beginner boaters.) The staff was fantastic and supportive. Safety was clearly important and they answered all of my questions. The boat itself was clean and spacious enough for 6 adults and 5 kids (I let them know we had 11 when we called and it was no problem as the ratio of kids to adults was good.) The desk attendant made us a helpful map of some fun-filled destinations (like Dog Days Bar & Restaurant with pools for all guests to enjoy and helpers on the dock for parking.) We were incredibly happy with the service and guidance. Also, Aqua Toys is one of the best prices for a full day or half day rental we found after about a dozen calls. We had an awesome experience with these guys. We rented a 12 person pontoon and it was in amazing condition. Chevy was so helpful as our driver was newer (he completed the online course which was super convenient). They had on-site so we could get out super easily when we returned. The pricing is on par but the service is really great. One thing to note: the flag your supposed to display when parked does not float...we learned that the hard way but it was only $10 to replace. Called and secured a pontoon for 1:30. Showed up at 1 to take care of paper work. Was told that the boat we secured was a cancellation and the people who cancelled changed their mind so they gave it to them. Guy said he "probably should have called us ". Ya think? Never again. read more

Mostly a great experience. The rates were the lowest I could find in the area for a 24 ft pontoon boat ($175 for 4 hrs including tax). They were willing to accomodate a late change from 8 hours to only 4, and right in the middle of the day, too (10-2 on Saturday). So kudos for their flexibility. Boat was fine, a little dinged up and the radio didn't work, but none of that mattered. With the 4-stroke engine, we only used $16 of gas in 4 hours. Their location is on a very busy part of the lake, so you might want to find a quieter location if you have no boating experience - some of the waves out in the channel were huge, and that interferes somewhat with our serious beer drinking. It would also be scary for kids and definintely out for non-swimmers. Ask them about this if you are concerned. Note: there was a boat race going on somewhere, so traffic was probably unusually heavy. If you rent from Aqua Toys, check out Shorty Pants - a cool bar on the water just west a bit. read more

Everything was perfect. Chevy was amazing he explained everything very fast about the boat, very nice especially the compliments lol, and he made sure not to cut into our reservation time. Everything went as planned. Only thing I'd say is don't follow google maps or Apple Maps to get to Aqua toy rentals because it will have you turn into Heron Bay Condominiums, it's the right turn after it. read more

Good rates and friendly staff. Only complaint would be that the stereo unit on the pontoon we rented was broken. We fixed that easily by bringing a portable stereo with us. The gas-included rental rates for WaveRunners first drew me to Aqua Toys, but the high quality of the watercraft and personalized service from the staff (Brian) would draw me back. My family rented a pontoon , and a wave runner from Aqua Toys. They had the lowest prices on the lake. The boat and wave runner were brand new.
