The windmils have three parts to them; the head, body and tail. It wasn't before long, when we literally saw the rain coming to us and before we know it, the whole tour was running inside the windmill with the souvenir shop in it.
If you come to Molinos, you need to know the legend of Don Quijote. So, this is how it goes: A famous book by the name of Don Quijote de la Mancha was written about these 12 windmills. Apparently it's one of the books that don't make sense until you analyze it like crazy. It's a book about a man name Don Quijote who was obsessed with chilvarous deeds. Throughout the novel, he goes on a journey encountering many villains such as twelve giants. The analysis part? Turns out the "giants" are imagined and they're actually the windmills. The main message that the author Miguel de Cervantes wanted to bring out is to stop dreaming about saving the world and do something more practical like farming.
A really cool place to visit, especially if you are a fan of this novel.
