The prices blow bass pro/Amazon away: trust me, I'm new to this sport so I have been paying attention and spending most every day lately! This couple took over an hour and half last night to set my family up with the PROPER gear! Bass Pro did not and truly set us up for failure. E&j ( the owners ) stayed over an hour past closing time to reload 4 reels with the proper line) and educate my kids on knot techniques, how to load hooks, fish in general and operate the reel! The selection of merchandise and quality of the gear is amazing. You can buy bait from anyone--Why? Support those that enrich our economy and treat all that visit them with respect and trueness. This family gave mine attention, education, and respect. For that, they have earned ours in return. Please visit them, give them one opportunity to win your business. Buy your gear, tackle, pole or next reel. The prices are very competitive but most uplifting feature--they come with unlimited educational sessions and if by chance you mess it up--pop it in the back of you vehicle and go say hello....I bet they can help fix it---try that anywhere else. Boats are launched from a standard boat dock near the drawbridge. The scenery is nice and the morning is a good time to go as there is little to no shade. Bring water and lather on the sunscreen. Also a dry box for your phone and keys is recommended. I had a good time out in the water. Saw a dolphin and 3 manatee. I was glad to have had experience as a paddler. The boat was good, the paddle was fair, and the staff was Salty. My $25 for two hours was well spent.
