First class firm. I originally went to for help with a traffic citation. They were very helpful and took care of everything. Even gave me updates on my case. When I was in their office, Mr. Nickel personally took the time to make sure I was well taken care of. 5 stars! A few years latter I was having horrible issues with my unemployment claim. Then Senator Nickel (who is on the unemployment commission) had the courtesy to return my emails when no other "public servant" would. Classy! Recently I fell and injured myself due to my apartment complex's negligence. I called Senator Nickel's office seeking a personal injury attorney referral. Ms. Lindsey Granados Esq. went "above and beyond" to try and help me. At no charge contacted attorneys she knew, listened to my story and explained in detail what I might expect. I hired Lindsey Granados for legal services and paid the full amount requested right away, but after that, I never received any communication from her. I reached out to follow up but got no response. A month later (25 days after my initial payment), I requested a refund, but that was also ignored. With no other options, I had to file a chargeback through my credit card. It was only after they got notice of the chargeback, more than 30 days later, did Lindsey's assistant email me. There was still no offer to perform the services paid for or to issue a refund. My response to her assistant (with Lindsey copied) went unsurprisingly unanswered. I see another 1-star review from another customer with what appears to be a similar issue, so I have to wonder if this is a regular occurrence. read more

The contract states that representation begins with payment. But I did not receive any response from them despite repeated emails and calls, except to say that an attorney would contact me soon. No attorney was ever assigned to my case. 2 days before my court appearance, they decided to terminate the contract, even though the contract requires both parties agree to terminate it, which I did not. Granados Law does not have the right to undermine my case like that. Perhaps they only treat men with professionalism? Or is it my name that precluded professional behavior? Are traffic citations beneath you--because you had no problem taking my money without providing representation as called for in the contract. Whatever the case, Granados Law Group does not take their own contract seriously; that is a problem. Why would anyone hire attorneys who break their own contracts so readily? If you are looking for good communication and accurate information you will not find it here. One of the worst experiences of my life. My mental well being was turned upside down because of this sloppy law firm on a case that I have been putting off for over 10 years for fear of exactly this. AVOID. EDIT: the response on google reviews is a lie and now my review there seems to be hidden. 1. COVID had nothing to do with it, I suspect Catherine was looking up clients voter registrations and taking the registered republicans and putting them at the bottom of the pile and giving them all kinds of incorrect information as revenge for Trump. 2. Where did Catherine get the idea that I only needed 1 witness when in truth I needed 3? this was more of Catherines Trump voter revenge i'm sure. 3. I never asked Lindsey to change DMV rules she OFFERED to investigate if it could be done because of the incorrect information Catherine gave me in the first place which ruined everything I had planned out then Lindsey went incommunicado much like Catherine did. 4. I never asked for a refund, you took the easy way out and dumped me instead of stepping up to the plate and working hard to make things right after I showed my displeasure with how things were going. I hired Mr. Nickel for legal representation and from moment one Mr. Nickel nor his staff provided the services for which they were paid in advance for. In 10 months, Mr. Nickel nor anyone in his firm worked on my case (aside from the original filing) unless I called to ask for a status update. When doing so I was treated as if I was an inconvenience and he and his staff's demeanor was defensive and arrogant - with an incredulous tone that a client would ask for a status update. Not once in 10 months did Mr. Nickel or his staff contact me, nor did they follow through on a single commitment they made to follow up. I would not recommend Mr. Nickel, his firm or anyone working for his firm to represent anyone regardless of the matter. read more
