We were referred to Mr. Scharff from a friend who had used his services before and had had a successful outcome. How grateful we were! Our brother had been falsely accused of a criminal matter, and our whole family was terribly stressed.
Jesse met with our brother the day after he called him and offered him an expert appraisal of his case. He was brutally honest about the situation our brother was in, and while making no promises as to the outcome, said thought the case was defensible and that he, Jesse, would be there every step of the way for him.
When trial week came and Jesse met with our family that Sunday night to review the strategy and prep us for what to expect, we could tell that he was thoroughly prepared for battle. In the morning, he prayed with us, which gave us a measure of peace that God had put him in our brother's life for this moment. He turned off his phone during the entire week of the trial so as to focus on our brother's trial. And, again, the night before our brother took the stand, he met with us in his office to prepare for his testimony. It really made us feel like he cared about our brother and our family and that we were all on the same team.
In summary, Jesse helped us navigate the process, to really understand the consequences, he listened to our brother's desires with respect, and he fought a good fight to the end; the jury found our brother not guilty.
