My cousin's friend wanted to have a girls night. So she bought us the see this play called "SHAG with a TWIST". I'm not sure if the hosts are staff of the venue or people who rented it for this play. Not much to say about the service. I can say it's was humid & the toilet situation was not the best. The venue was small, but cute. I also believe the food was limited to snacks. The staff here is amazingly kind and stellar. Small theater with 150 seats. There's just enough room for your legs between rows which makes it a bit uncomfortable. Seat cushions were offered. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend. read more

Small well designed theatre. Surrounded by unique shops, winery, and plenty of eateries. The community is quiet and has meter and parking lots close by. A community base theatre that delivered a Grand Performance. I saw The People With The Trees In Their Chest. I thought it was incredible. The service was good. read more

I've been here a few times in the recent past. Their ticketing staff on the phone, programs, productions, and venue with amenities, though small, are excellent. For the price of the ticket, you'll get great local entertainment and service at an affordable expense. I would have given 5 stars, but for limited courtesy of onsite personnel at the event when seating went wrong. Having a flair for diplomacy and guest relations is essential to the success of any business, particularly entertainment and travel. I felt the staff fell short in that area especially when I was seated by one of their personnel in a space that was determined much later to have been previously reserved by another party. It was an honest mistake, for sure. However, their lack of transparency and diplomacy with problem resolution was particularly offensive and made me feel like a very unvalued guest. Hopefully that won't happen to you, so have a good time here!. read more

I came to the Grand Annex because my friend Jason Luckett was performing here. I can only speak on my experience for that day. The theater itself is a small, venue that seems to be able to seat maybe 200 people comfortably. The concert I attended was socially distanced so I couldn't give you and accurate count on seating capacity. The stage has a baby grand piano and is not very big. This venue is more of an up close and personal setting experience. I think there is a small bar to left of the stage. There is elevated seating in the back with a few table and chairs. Acoustics? The sound system was excellent. My friend plays the piano, guitar and sings. He sounded amazing. I did have difficulty with parking. That's because there was a film being shot across the street at the same time so no parking was available near the venue. Luckily, I found parking on another street not too far from Grand Annex. read more

This a great little music venue. They bring in some very talented musicians and groups. Intimate 150 seat setting. I would have given 5 star rating, but the women working bar area (with blonde hair and a purple streak in it) is rude at best. Scoffs at customers that use the survey coupon to get the drink discount. (Why offer it if it's not accepted without being treated poorly for doing so?) ‍ Other than that, great place with very helpful and friendly staff. read more

A really special place to see a show. The Grand Annex gets everything right. The sightlines are great from any seat. The sound is very good, and the Annex has obviously invested time and money in acoustical panels on the walls to make it so. Drinks are a very reasonable $8/wine and $6/beer. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the entertainment (Spring: The Springsteen Experience) was top notch. Parking was easy and free as well. What more could one ask? read more

A music venue and showroom that attracts the singer-songwriters making the scene with a different feel than Alva Showroom since the stage is up and the round tables and chairs are on the floor. Pre-Covid the scene of Japanese drumming classes - that vibration really goes up your chakras! Boarded up for a long time due to fear of the Black Lives Matter riots that didn't actually happen in Pedro, looks to be on the rebound soon. Also used for rehearsals and other rentals. read more

Beautiful small venue. There is not a bad seat in the house. Prices vary for different events. This is a non-prophet organization. And they do support local schools for music and arts. I was very impressed with the flamingo dancing. Most of the dancers musicians and artists were from Spain. read more

Our daughter recently performed here and it was the first time we visited. Sound is GREAT, venue is cozy, yet large enough for our party and then some. They have great sound and tech guys working there too. Her recitals are generally at Loyola or the Nakano theater, which both places are also great. After the recital, we found the best Italian restaurant right around the corner, so it ended up being a great night all the way around. read more

Best venue in the South Bay- if you're looking for a great intimate setting with first rate artists, look no further! After a huge revamp of the room about 2 years ago, this venue has grown into a full fledge theatre sitting about 150- but it still has that great 'Pedro feel. Love it read more

A great little music venue in San Pedro. We saw the cover band Led ZepAgain play and there were sooo good. I would definitely come back to see a band play here again. I hadn't heard of the other bands scheduled to play in the near future and we weren't really interested in them. The bar takes card BTW! There are two bathroom stalls which had a bit of a line at times since people were drinking. If you see a band playing here you want to see definitely buy tickets early because the venue is really small. I like that they supported youth arts with ticket sales and I am not sure if it is run by volunteers. read more

Its a small theater next to the majestic art-deco splendor of the Warner Grand Theater, in San Pedro. The building has been retrofitted to fit a small stage and the staff is friendly. I attended three events this season, including Japanese drumming, Oude music and Janet Klein's resurrection of the teens and 20's. The Oude music was very enjoyable and Janet Klein was a breath of fresh air in a world of modern materialism and uber-hyped fluff. The musical acts are as eclectic as San Pedro itself, and within walking distance are some of the best restaurants I have been to in awhile, without the Westside scene, and Westside prices. Now I know why they call San Pedro "Silver Lake by-the-sea", and the Grand Annex is certainly the catalyst for this local arts uprising!! read more

What a wonderful venue this is to go and listen to a concert. We sat right up front and had a wonderful listening experience without distraction. Staff was so friendly and I heard the drinks were reasonable as well. Drinks were only served in the bar area during intermission to avoid distractions.. Since moving to the LA area, finding a small venue for music listening has been difficult. I am so happy to find this wonderful place. Truly, this is a 5 star As good as it gets rating. read more

And you're welcome to take photos as long as you do it politely. Last weekend we had a blast with a 12 piece Elvis tribute band called Graceband.
